Zactoshi I actually want the Pokemon anime to reboot with Ash in Kanto Pokemon Horizons feels all over the place way to many characters no focus on the Pokemon I feel the humans and their development makes the Pokemon feel like Merchandise in someone's room I think Pokemon Horizons needed 3 years of pure development and released way to soon I feel the whole anime needs a break also no one is watching it everyone ask where to watch Pokemon Horizons 😅😅

Honestly, your take of Ash's Unova adventure is miles better than the one we got in the actual anime. Ash wasn't an idiot for most of the series, Iris was definitely not the best traveling companion as she consistently calls Ash a kid when she's no different and I'd hoped she was knocked down a peg or two, her story arc was interesting and could've been better implemented, Hilda would've been a better companion to Ash as, like with Hoenn and Sinnoh before, the female protagonist is always Ash's traveling companion, the anime is basically a visual representation of the games, and Hilbert was a far better rival to Ash and Trip. And I also like how you used Zekrom as part of the story instead of just appearing out of nowhere and zaps away Pikachu's electricity. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of your Journey's rewrite.

It makes sense why Misty was the female traveling companion since back then the only thing was Gym Battles and it wouldn't make sense to have 2 protagonist doing the same thing. A few years later we get May and Dawn characters with actual goals and are actively pursuing them and then we get the shitshow that is Iris rather than the female Protag who's main goal is pretty much similar to Misty which means nothing in the long run. It's even funnier when in Journeys she just decided to become the champion which means she should've just been Ash's rival instead.
Iris has been nothing but difficult, unhelpful, obnoxious, and over all a TERRIBLE FRIEND TO ASH! It's no wonder Iris didn't have any friends back then, NOBODY COULD STAND HER! And that's the truth. So always pic ideals instead. Iris is and never was any friend of Ash's. All she ever does is make fun of him. Not to mention most of all CALL HIM A LITTLE KID OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!!! Even though SHE WAS THE LITTLE KID ALL ALONG!!!!!!
I came across this video and fully intend on watching this the entire way through. I personally enjoyed black and white but it might also involve some slight bias because this generation is my favorite. I will say, it might have been a little better if Ash's team evolved more. There's no reason that he only had three fully evolved Pokemon out of the nine he used (You can choose to ignore this comment if you want to I will more than likely delete it after I watched the whole video)
You know I was really surprised when I first discovered this video back during my last year of college. You gave fans an even better story of what could have been for Ash’a Unova Journey and it’s led to something even bigger. Thank you Zanolith for an amzazing three years so far and more to come. Hey! I had a ton of fun watching and listening to this rewrite. I really liked the character development that you gave to Ash because. It sort of sets up the characterization and maturity that he would receive in the XY seasons where he was a very competent trainer in those thus making it feel like a natural progression of his character. Which honestly makes me wish this was canon. Keep up the great work you just got a sub a new sub from me
Does any one else remember the Clubsplosion Arc? I do. It was the best part of the WORST saga of one of my favorite Gens. Point being, I was thinking the Clubsplosion competitors along with every other Unova ally/rival coming together to face Neo Team Plasma. Who are backed up by the Pokemon world's equivalent of Riot Police turned traitor due to being offered a great deal.

The only thing that needed to be fix on Ash's adventure in the Unova Region are his three Unova Starter Pokemon (Snivy, Pignite and Oshawott) to evolved all the way into their final evolved forms before competing in the Unova League.
Honestly that is what we should have gotten in the anime ,Zano you fixed and improved on Pokemon black and white's shortcomings ❤👏👏 ,keep up your great work 👊
I was surprised when I see this rewrite in my recommendation considering that I tried to find a rewrite of the anime not too long ago and I couldn’t find one Besides a few nitpicks like the two month time skip feeling way too short, I really liked the changes you made like making Colress the actual villain of the B2W2 arc instead of using Ghetsis again And Ash working with Zekrom to beat Reshiram and White Kyurem were great moments since Zekrom was always an ideal pokemon for Ash to have I’d also like to mention that ending Ash’s journey in Unova would have been perfect considering that growing to surpass Iris would be a goal for him to strive for to keep him in unova, than the PWT could easily be used as a way for all the champions around the world to come and battle each other, I think an ending like that would be fitting as a way of capping off the 2D pokemon era as a whole before going forward into the third dimension and having a new protagonist in XY to emphasize that shift

Personally, I don’t think Ash was ready to win a league in Sinnoh. I just think his sinnoh goal was defeating Paul because both of them could’ve easily made it to the finals of the sinnoh league
Typed before watching... I'll be honest, i actually loved seeing Ash capture more than a Team of 6, and use them in Rotation. I don't think this was done has 1 of the ways to reboot Gen 1, since Ash did the same in Kanto, except he didn't really put them in Rotation. I think, (despite never confirming out loud) coming out of the Sinnoh Journey, and everything he went thru with Paul, using a Rotation made sense. Paul did it, Gary done it in the past, and Ash used reserves for the Sinnoh League... however, it was still mishandled. Some Pokémon did not need to be caught, and also, with more Pokémon, you need more time dedicated to development and growing stronger. That does not mean, Evolutions btw. Honestly this would have been a better Rotation and Order of capture too: Pikachu, Pidove/Unfezant, Sandile/Krookidile, Tepig/Pignite, Snivy/Servine, Scraggy, Sewaddle/Leavanny, Roggenrola/Boldore -> Conkeldurr, Palpitoad/Seismitoad. The changes I made were; No Oshawott, Sandile caught during it's 1st appearance, Snivy Evolves once, and Boldore gets traded to Trip for his Gurdurr, to showcase Trade Evolution, suggested by Cilan, after seeing Bianca go thru with her Trade Evo. Also, if you give the Unova team their growth during the Main Series, then Ash could use reserves for the League, which would be a bigger deal, seeing as Unova is a Region that for most of the Region only Unova Pokémon can be found, meaning the Pokémon Ash has in reserves would be unknown to most of the other competitors, putting Ash at a big Advantage. The only other League competitors to have Non Unova Pokémon, are Cameron and Virgle, and Look at who won the League... and don't even get me started on how The Trip Rivalry should have been handled. That's a whole different story!
I agree. I’ve always felt Snivy should’ve evolved once and both Tepig and Oshawott to their forms. I never liked Unfezant and was always impartial towards Mandibuzz and felt it would’ve been a cool Pokemon for Ash to have. Sandile should’ve always been his first Unova capture and his reserves definitely should’ve been used during the league
I never expected to get a full video for the rewrites, so this was nice to see. This is still my favorite of your rewrites! The story was so much more different and interesting compared to the original. And I like when the stories were just your voice without all the extra actors, just my personal preference.
This is AMAZING! It’s just as good as Zac,s swsh anime series! I loved it all from the beginning to the end. Although I do think that servine should serperior though, but I can look past that. This is far better than the actual anime. This gets a 10000000000000000/10. 👍
I have rewrites for xy, sm and currently have one season of a JN out too. This series is actually like 3 years old and does not reflect my current quality lmao.
I hope you rewrite all of Ash's Pokémon previous journeys in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Unova later on. I don't mind if they'll be non canon and separate from this.
For all those people who hate the Black And White anime and believe the main reason it was ruined because Team Rocket VS Team Plasma did not aired i am sorry to infrom you but even if that special did aired the rest of the anime would still have been the same or at least season 1 and the majority of the anime. There was never a big storyline planed because some people seem to believe that. It is nonsense because episodes are already finished 5 months before it is aired.
While I disagree with Unova being Ash’s worst adventure (that honor goes to Kanto), I’m glad to see someone on RUclips attempt to fix its biggest flaws, even with my own plot ideas

To be honest I would have swapped out Unfezant for Braviary due to how much I don’t like the Pokémon and the other bird will be a much better fit but to give credit this version of Unfezant is way better than his stupid anime counterparts but we can DEF we agreed they were moving Palpitoad was definitely the right move sense it is without a doubt Ash’s WORST Pokémon ever f**k that’s garbage Plus already has a water type in Samurott and a ground type in Krookodile this version of Ash’s Unova Team is way better than his Dog water anime counterpart and having Hilda as Ash’s traveling companion for Unova it’s actually really cool Iris works better as a Revolver than a trophy Companion I like Hilda I think She’s really cute and adorable and Partner Tepig it’s really cute and cool i’m actually OK with him not evolving now because I don’t like his evolutions but He gives me similar vibes to Bulbasaur Piplup and GOD/Rowlet were they don’t need to evolve to prove themselves oh very nice work two thumbs up for this rewrite and hopefully Hilda and others of Ash companions can return for the journeys rewrite 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 two thumbs up psych LOL
Black & White was considered as the worst Pokémon series in the anime and I can see why you wanted to improve it by rewriting a better storyline. Ash defeats Trip (his main rival in Unova) in the first round of the main tournament (Top 16) instead of the preliminaries and then lost to Iris in the final round instead of finishing at the quarterfinal round (Top 8). I prefer Ash finishing at the semifinal round (Top 4) of the Unova league rather than dropping down or ranking up around that time. Are you going to do the same completion videos for X & Y along with Sun & Moon?
I hope you will describe more about the Alola league, when you said every match from the first round up to the semifinals will be 3v3 matches you don't mean Mallow didn't defeat any of Lana's team and got beaten real badly did you? Mallow really needs more appreciation (even though Lillie is the main girl protagonist in Sun & Moon) My opinion is every match in the first round should be 1v1 like in the anime, while the quarterfinals will be 2v2 matches and the semifinals will be 3v3 matches, leaving the final round to be a full battle (6v6).
This series is truly amazing, and a must-watch for any fan of the anime. That said, while I know that Ash having so many Unova Pokemon in the canon story was part of the issue, due to the focus being spread too thinly between them, I won't pretend that I'm not saddened that you basically pulled a Thanos and snapped more than half of them in favor of a random Darmanitan because you already gave Hilda Tepig yet still thought Ash having a fire type was necessary, when that final slot could have instead been filled by Roggenrola while still avoiding any repeated types, and it'd have been great to see him finally evolve all the way to Gigalith to boot. It'd still suck to lose Leavanny and Scraggy, but at least those are understandable when he's already got Grass and Dark covered. Finally there's Palpitoad, who... existed. Okay he was almost nobody's favorite, and would never make it in over Oshawott AND Krookodile, but I still wouldn't wish nonexistence on the guy lol. If nothing else, I wish that at they were at least caught by Hilda or Cilan so that they weren't utterly left behind and forgotten. But yeah, aside from that (and the only other minor nitpick of Petilil somehow evolving without a Sun Stone), this was incredible!
You did a much better job than the actual BW anime, thanks to the storylines being better, Ash not being a complete idiot, and perhaps most amazingly a companion actually achieves their goal. Unfortunately, the tournaments you did all sucked since they all had the same flaw: Ash losing in the finals. This is better than the original but still not one I would want to regularly revisit.
Ok I’ll watch the video but let’s not act like it was the worst thing ever. The original series exists after all and these seasons had plenty of positives
Still my personal favorite from the Zanoverse continuity. Due to my Unova bias, yes, but also because it was the one which did the best as far as rewriting in my opinion. I don't remember having a single complaint with this series (maybe BECAUSE I'm biased, idk) or even a minor nitpick or something. I feel like this one does the best at making changes to differentiate, while also not losing what made Unova so great. It combined aspects of the original, story beats from the games, ideas from the Adventures manga, and new ideas that all managed to blend together well. Maybe my opinions will change upon a full rewatch, but so far it's still the one I enjoyed the most
I know people hate Iris, but why (and don't just say because she is a misty clone cause a: that not a good reason to hate the character and b: undermind Iris hole arc
I actually love Iris. I think she has an interesting story. I just wanted to take her character in a different direction not only to do her justice, but also create another brand new character people can enjoy. I pretty much made Iris one of the most important characters in the series

For all those people who hate the Black And White anime and believe the main reason it was ruined because Team Rocket VS Team Plasma did not aired i am sorry to infrom you but even if that special did aired the rest of the anime would still have been the same or at least season 1 and the majority of the anime. There was never a big storyline planed because some people seem to believe that. It is nonsense because episodes are already finished 5 months before it is aired.
While I disagree with Unova being Ash’s worst adventure (that honor goes to Kanto), I’m glad to see someone on RUclips attempt to fix its biggest flaws, even with my own plot ideas

To be honest I would have swapped out Unfezant for Braviary due to how much I don’t like the Pokémon and the other bird will be a much better fit but to give credit this version of Unfezant is way better than his stupid anime counterparts but we can DEF we agreed they were moving Palpitoad was definitely the right move sense it is without a doubt Ash’s WORST Pokémon ever f**k that’s garbage Plus already has a water type in Samurott and a ground type in Krookodile this version of Ash’s Unova Team is way better than his Dog water anime counterpart and having Hilda as Ash’s traveling companion for Unova it’s actually really cool Iris works better as a Revolver than a trophy Companion I like Hilda I think She’s really cute and adorable and Partner Tepig it’s really cute and cool i’m actually OK with him not evolving now because I don’t like his evolutions but He gives me similar vibes to Bulbasaur Piplup and GOD/Rowlet were they don’t need to evolve to prove themselves oh very nice work two thumbs up for this rewrite and hopefully Hilda and others of Ash companions can return for the journeys rewrite 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 two thumbs up psych LOL
Black & White was considered as the worst Pokémon series in the anime and I can see why you wanted to improve it by rewriting a better storyline. Ash defeats Trip (his main rival in Unova) in the first round of the main tournament (Top 16) instead of the preliminaries and then lost to Iris in the final round instead of finishing at the quarterfinal round (Top 8). I prefer Ash finishing at the semifinal round (Top 4) of the Unova league rather than dropping down or ranking up around that time. Are you going to do the same completion videos for X & Y along with Sun & Moon?

I hope you will describe more about the Alola league, when you said every match from the first round up to the semifinals will be 3v3 matches you don't mean Mallow didn't defeat any of Lana's team and got beaten real badly did you? Mallow really needs more appreciation (even though Lillie is the main girl protagonist in Sun & Moon) My opinion is every match in the first round should be 1v1 like in the anime, while the quarterfinals will be 2v2 matches and the semifinals will be 3v3 matches, leaving the final round to be a full battle (6v6).

Truly a great series
This series is truly amazing, and a must-watch for any fan of the anime.
That said, while I know that Ash having so many Unova Pokemon in the canon story was part of the issue, due to the focus being spread too thinly between them, I won't pretend that I'm not saddened that you basically pulled a Thanos and snapped more than half of them in favor of a random Darmanitan because you already gave Hilda Tepig yet still thought Ash having a fire type was necessary, when that final slot could have instead been filled by Roggenrola while still avoiding any repeated types, and it'd have been great to see him finally evolve all the way to Gigalith to boot. It'd still suck to lose Leavanny and Scraggy, but at least those are understandable when he's already got Grass and Dark covered. Finally there's Palpitoad, who... existed. Okay he was almost nobody's favorite, and would never make it in over Oshawott AND Krookodile, but I still wouldn't wish nonexistence on the guy lol. If nothing else, I wish that at they were at least caught by Hilda or Cilan so that they weren't utterly left behind and forgotten.
But yeah, aside from that (and the only other minor nitpick of Petilil somehow evolving without a Sun Stone), this was incredible!

You did a much better job than the actual BW anime, thanks to the storylines being better, Ash not being a complete idiot, and perhaps most amazingly a companion actually achieves their goal. Unfortunately, the tournaments you did all sucked since they all had the same flaw: Ash losing in the finals. This is better than the original but still not one I would want to regularly revisit.

Still my personal favorite from the Zanoverse continuity. Due to my Unova bias, yes, but also because it was the one which did the best as far as rewriting in my opinion. I don't remember having a single complaint with this series (maybe BECAUSE I'm biased, idk) or even a minor nitpick or something. I feel like this one does the best at making changes to differentiate, while also not losing what made Unova so great. It combined aspects of the original, story beats from the games, ideas from the Adventures manga, and new ideas that all managed to blend together well. Maybe my opinions will change upon a full rewatch, but so far it's still the one I enjoyed the most

I actually love Iris. I think she has an interesting story. I just wanted to take her character in a different direction not only to do her justice, but also create another brand new character people can enjoy. I pretty much made Iris one of the most important characters in the series
