I see some people saying this gives Calamity Vibes, but to me, this feels more like the Nightmare King track from Hollow Knight, with the way the organ pipes and choir bits were done. Either way, this is just incredible. Fantastic work once again, CDMusic.

Imo while bad time is much worse in difficulty, despair is more painful due to the “long song” factor, if you die while you have like 30 seconds left, you have to play through the other 4:30 minutes again + combat mechanics combined with the bitch that kills half your hp if hits you.

This song is what exactly it says in the name. Devil's Gambit I beat like first try, and Bad Time only took an hour of practice.
This. Funkin'. Song. Took me a WHOLE GODDAMN WEEK OF PRACTICE. The beginning tricks you by seeming like normal charting, but oh my god the Butcher Gang makes this horrible. I had to grind this song out so hard to consistently beat the second section where they appear, learning all the right timings to attack, and even then I choked like 20 attempts on the last second.
This song is batshit insane and I both love and hate it. Wonderful work CD.

Everyone was awesome with the art, the songs and just about everything! Trust me I actually didn’t expect there to be nightmare songs, furthermore I was shocked to find that DESPAIR held up to its name, and the studio was on fire burning behind those 2 and bendy straight up trying to kill the player rather than boyfriend. Never did I expect a jumpscare from nightmare bendy.
Who knows? Maybe this song took place after Bendy's fight with Sans in MORØ's animation, and he began to learn a lot from that battle, one of the things being that he came from a video game. If the player is good at the game, Bendy's killing spree is gonna end pretty soon. If the player is not the best, then Bendy's gonna keep killing with the knowledge that he will never stop feeling alive, getting more and more blood on his hands, all bc the player can't beat the game. But in this song, Bendy might no longer be satisfied with just killing the puppet, but instead going for the one pulling the strings.
EDIT: Yeah. This is all just a rlly damning statement, especially since we're talking about a failed attempt at recreating the studio's mascot in real life.
On second thought maybe it's not so damning, but the powers the Nightmare characters gained also included awareness of the game's files and the player. If u go into the mapping engine for the nightmare Songs, the characters just pop up outta nowhere and flat out kill the player while also crashing the game in a last-ditch effort to make sure the song remains the challenge it's supposed to be.
I ABSOLUTELY love choir, and here it uses it perfectly, everything sounds grandiose, you can feel the dread and despair that Bendy is, you really feel like you've crossed path with a higher being, god this is good!
I have a feeling that you're channel is going to blow up now that you're making songs for a mod as big as this one.

Not like anyone did bad, but holy crap, you probably popped off the hardest of all the musicians who worked on the mod. I simply find myself coming back to this and Terrible Sin more than any of the other songs. Fantastic job and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store!

I don’t really get the second part though, but that’s just more of me being a metal enjoyer (subjectivity moment).

This is one of the craziest songs I've ever heard in my life. Like holy shit this takes so much skill. This also gives me athazagoraphobia vibes; the feeling you are fighting someone who is much more powerful than you that could swash you like a bug of they wanted but they don't, filling you with *despair*
I love this design for our little friend moving on the screen. Something about it feels MUCH better then beast bendy, and that's not to knock beast bendy hes cool as well but the one glowing eye the constantly burning hands and the spikes coming from bendy's spine are just fucking astounding not to mention his banger ass song. The entire team for this project deserves kudos and i cannot wait for shovel knight and fnaf

This song is my favorite in indie cross. It gives me this final boss vibes and I can't get over of it how intense the instrumentals are.
Damn, dude. I know you didn't chart this, but this song is brutal. I once considered myself a little below average with this game. Now I'm beginning to question that. This is still an amazing song despite how I'll never reach the halfway point. Great work on everyone's part.

Honestly, beating this song is pretty much gonna be one of my crowning achievements on FNF for a long while. The amount of pure dread I got when I first played this is unreal, and that dread only increased the further into the song I got. Absolutely phenomenal work!

Where do i fucking start.
This is absolute chaos and i'm in love with it. The 12/8 time signature is genius, and the choir mixed with the death metal sends chills down my spine exactly like Hellclown did.
And at 1:43 he ascends. I don't mean "haha it's the really hype part of a song" kind of ascension. I'm talking it actually sounds like he's surpassing the gods of creation and the only thing you can do in that moment is watch as your hope is shredded to pieces, and sumbit to your doom.
my only grievances I have with this song is:
bendy's vocals are drowned out by the instrumental, and
the instrumental is drowned out by BF's vocals.
1:11 is arguably the best bit, Bendy's vocals here just slap.
I imagine Despair V2 would start with a brief period of silence, slowly building up suspense. At the meantime, Bendy's vocals kick in, similar to the first song in Hypno Lullaby. The main part of the song begins. As the song progresses, it reaches to an ending where it's as if only Nightmare Bendy remains, along with Sans or Cuphead. You'd feel a strong urge to get Bendy out of your way, but you realize that the fight is not over. The next encounter would be your final chance to survive against your inevitable fate. If the soundtrack were like this, this song would be off the charts.

As of the time I am writing this, I have successfully FC'd this hellhole of a song. Despair V2, I'm coming for you, no matter how hard you are rumored you are gonna be.
4:01 I like this part the most, as this is the final streach. But also the hardest part of the song is coming up. Why I like this is because this is the easiest part as you need to hold just a few long notes. You get a short break to get just a few breathers
I love how pretty much all the difficult songs can overwhelm you in the last parts, e.g, last reel, this, bad time, devils gambit, BIH, (saness....)
With these songs being absolutely amazing and a must listen i simply cant wait for what's next to come!
