Man, your thumbnail is amazing! Yeah the scanned stuff looks pretty normal. I think when I was in the US I saw a sign at the airport that said everything under 800 the scanner wouldn't affect. Love that last one of the bushes at the shrine!

Haha finally someone who gets it! 😂 Yeah I'm usually fine scanning anything 400 and under. It's just that I heard the checked luggage scanners were worse! I guess not so much...

Interesting! I guess the slower film thing really does help a lot! And that definitely helps ease some anxiety if I'm ever forced to check any film. Maybe it will stand a solid chance if it's slower. Also, this isn't helping my Mamiya 6 daydreams. 😅😅😅

      @@masaki_kashima お値段はどうしてもかかりますよね…

It's kinda funny that you wanted terrible shots and they all came out great, haha. Good though, I guess, eh.
Personally I'm a fan of the bikes at 5:26, but really quite enjoyed them all.
Gives me confidence for bringing film into Japan, as I have a bunch of Gold 120 and other stuff which I'll bring with me instead of buying over there. Might buy a roll or 2 of 3200 just to force a handcheck, as coming into Germany last month they refused to handcheck my film because it was all 400 and below.

I've been pretty fortunate, not too many handcheck refusals. But yeah, high iso to force it is a good idea!

Frankfurt refused to hand check even though 800 and 3200 was in there… so did Zurich… Japanese are always friendly and hand check for me though :-/

@@marckyokay yeah it varies by airport. Japan is always fine for me, I've been refused in Korea (second time this week), Qatar, Germany, and i think Italy.

@@marckyokay I just flew from Germany and I got lucky. The guy said "our machines are pretty weak, I don't think you'll have a problem", so I asked if he would hand check them anyway. "I'll have to get the police over". Yep sure, no problem.
After a couple minutes, they come over, give it a quick look, asked what it was, and let me through with a handcheck. It was long, and I felt bad for those behind me, but everyone was friendly along the way.
I say lucky because last time I flew from that airport, the dude said "sure no problem" and then threw it into the xray...
