The Best Music Will Never die ...
when I was a teenager a teacher made us study villa-lobos (choro number 10). he was disappointed with our delay and said: let's start from the back: take the rondo do adbelazer-purcell... I never got tired of this piece and I must say that I thought this one was spectacular. the percussion sounds even better.
Enjoyed this; wasn't quite convinced by the percussion. Seemed stodgy compared to the playing, perhaps too insistent. Still, over all, well worth watching/listening. Purcell is completely underrated in my opinion. He is just astoundingly inventive and desperately beautiful. Truly deserves the adjective great!

great performance but I think needs a base viol to provide more depth.
If you have an equalizer and configuration for "Live" it makes all the difference.

The concert featured incidental music, which was originally written to accompany theater.
