Gotta get that polarized lens so we can see in the water too. Need to check that water quality and heavy metal levels in those fish before eating anything from it. Being that close to the highway is dumping tons of pollution in to that water.

I do want to see you put some traps in this pond and catch bullfrog tadpoles and bluegills to take to your pond and add crappie to this pond as well! I wouldn't add hybrid bluegills, so they don't mix with the "straight-up American bluegills" you have!😅😅

This father’s day bundle hits hard while watching this video!
You can 100% grow large bass in the smaller pond. We have a pond nearby that is only about 50’ by 50’ that has multiple 2-3lbers and one 5-6 pounder. It doesn’t look like it could hold those fish, but with the environment they are in (lots of small bluegill and green sunfish), they can grow big. Btw, this is in New York where the bass don’t grow as big.
You are absolutely right about the watermelon flavoured candy. I've never tasted a product that was supposed to taste like watermelon that actually tasted like it. It's like someone someday decided that "this is what watermelon tastes like" and everyone just went with it.
For a fun fish to have at your pond yellow perch would be good they are fun to catch and good if you want to eat as always. Also are you going to restock with walleyes?

The myth busters idea for the pond is such a great idea
FINALLY WAS ABLE TO ORDER SOME HOLY LORD..every single time i’ve tried it was sold out, but i was at least able to get hot n spicy and teriyaki this time so im happy
Put a cheap feeder on it Moultrie makes a directional feeder that mounts on a 4x4 post they work amazing and they are cheap like 120-150 bucks
You could even turn your shops offices into living quarters. The enrty way could be a mancave with a bar and the upstairs couuld be bedrooms, kitchen and a living space for when you've partied to hard or when the Googin boys come into town.

We've been fishing a old coal mine pond that's probably 15-20 years old now and it has some huge crappie and all the bass are on the smaller side, biggest we've ever caught is 2 Lbs maybe 2 1/2. They are probably stunted and need some culled.
@FLAIR. I totally agree to put in minnows right away. I think that since the home pond will be the bass pond and the hatchery will be for bait nad trash fish...I would put in only catfish species and panfish species. I would also experiment with freshwater glass shrimp. The shrimp are great for feeding all the other fish...even the minnows. While the glass shrimp can survive winter, you might have many of them die off so stocking them early fall and early spring is great for a good boom and recovery.
I would not add crawfish unless you really want to. I only say that because they will attack the frog populations if you want frogs.
I really think that if you don't add the bass, you could add other panfish species and not worry about it. I say that because crappy will have the same effect anyway. Maybe put in some stone beds and gravel and add some rock bass too.
I suggest that if its a catch clean cook pond...you want to get redears because they get the biggest.
Flair you should get the work Pond shocked so you can see what all is in it.
Since it’s the beginning of Summer you really should do a Academy run to get a couple of Tents and some Camping Supplies and go Camping at one of the Campgrounds that’s on one of your local Lakes for several days this definitely would make some banger videos.
I like the idea of tagging fish and really seeing how fast you can grow them!!

You should get a giant fish tank for your beef cake lobby. It can serve as a science center for breeding different species of bass together to get stronger Gene Pool for your ponds. Who knows maybe you can name your first mixed fish breed named beefcake breed.

Catching a beefcake fish using the beefcake jerky would be epic and something to brag about. Can also bring in a new line of fish scents with your flavor of jerky embedded in the lure or stand alone as an application oil, gel or aerosol spray.
this is a pretty smart setup, once you build a new shop/warehouse at your house you can use the current "temp" warehouse for your beefcake hq as well

Fish tend to grow to the maximum potential depending on the circumference area of their environment. That's why you can catch huge megas in a river system or spillway because there is no restriction as to where a fish could travel let alone hide from Predatory fish and continue their growth.

in wisconsin i know a few people that grow sucker minnows for musky fishing in there little shallow ponds. you could make a killing stocking suckers and selling them as a bait retailer
We had a pond filled with gills and catfish little bullheads.
We put 16 bass like 6 inches long at most three years ago
We now have 8-10 that are 20 inches plus but not the heaviest.
If you put in predator fish for that size pond, you gotta stock every other year gills and shiners.
We have no more gills or catfish in our pond btw that’s why I said something

Get a cloverleaf perch trap and use them to stock your pond u can get one of those white totes with the cage on the outside cut the top off and put a livewell pump to resurculate the water and a airator in it we transport 200 shad at a time no problem also big flathead catfish 👍

I say the trout will be nice at the warehouse pond will be 🔥. They usually bite well on shallow water. And it being around the island will be good for them to swim around and be good for some catch n cook. Should put some lightening trout in there to cause they say they taste better then regular 🌈.

SHHEEW let's go... What a great start to figure out what is in the pond. I'm saying that you should make it a Catch and Cook pond.
For a pond that size you would want to stock sterile bass to prevent overpopulation. A safe place to start would be 20-30 largemouth the first year, electroshock it in the fall to gather the early mortality numbers, and shock it again in the spring to see winter survival. From there you will have a rough idea as to the max population your pond can support.
