    Congrats on your new phone! I’m saving up for one too, it’s going to be the first phone I ever have! 🥳🥳🥳 it’s going to take a while though, cause I’m just making money from chores.

    Congrats on your new phone! Hope you enjoy it! I’m also saving up for the iPhone se3!😂 First phone ever asw! It’s gonna be a while till I make enough money tho. (Babysitting, and lots of chores. Especially the fact that my dad thinks I’m not old enough for one. And if I do get on by him, it’s probably gonna be an old flip phone

      Thanks Lyvi😊 I believe that your Dad works very hard for your family needs. Although this SE3 is the cheapest new iPhone, it is still quite pricey especially for middle to low income families. Do be patient and be considerate to your Dad, I believe that you can get your dream iPhone one day🥰

      Yess the size is perfect! I thought I’d have a hard time to adapt to its small size but I was completely wrong, I feel very comfortable holding and using it, especially when switching from a phone larger than 6 inch, iPhone SE feels a lot less stressful to my fingers

    How's the home button compared to gestures system?

    • @englandsonlim
      @englandsonlim  2 года назад +1

      I’ve never own any gesture-based iPhone before, but I do have an iPad mini 6 which uses the gesture system. It takes time for me to adapt to the home button navigating mechanism, but I can say so far I adapt to the home button mechanism quite well. Just need to remember that swiping up from bottom is the control center
      So far I can see that the down side of the home button navigation is that you can’t switch between app instantly by swiping left and right at the bottom as the gesture system. Also, you couldn’t get the quick access button of torch and camera on the lock screen

      @@englandsonlim Iam using a huawei nova 5t

    • @englandsonlim
      @englandsonlim  2 года назад +1

      @@davo_star4334 Huawei Nova 5T was actually a great value phone when it’s released… my suggestion is:
      Don’t switch to iPhone SE3 if:
      - Your current phone is working fine with minimal lag
      - You are used to the large edge-to edge display for watching video or gaming, cuz the SE3 screen is quite small and it has large forehead and chin
      - You are playing heavy mobile games such as Genshin Impact, PUBG, Mobile Legends etc solely on your phone, cuz yea the screen on SE3 is small your finger might block a large portion of the screen and might go out of the screen if you didn’t aware
      - You like to take photos using different camera hardwares on the Nova 5T such as ultrawide and macro, cuz SE3 only has a single camera
      - You like to take selfies, cuz SE3 only has a 7MP front camera
      - You are worried about battery life, cuz SE3 only has a 2018mAh battery
      - You have a minimal budget… eventhough SE3 is the cheapest iPhone, it’s still more expensive than most of the mid-range Android phones
      However, switch to iPhone SE3 if:
      - You want to start exploring apple ecosystem with minimal expenses
      - You just want a phone that can last 5 years or longer with latest iOS support every year and minimal drop of performance
      - You have another apple device such as iPad or Mac, which can work seamlessly with the iPhone such as AirDrop, iCloud, copy & paste across devices etc
      - You don’t play games on your phone
      - You want 5G cellular data
      - You want 4K 60fps video recording with excellent optical stabilization on the back camera
      By the way, I switched from Huawei Nova 3i. This phone lags almost all the time no matter while navigating or opening apps. I’m glad I switched to iPhone SE3 because:
      - I have an iPad mini 6 which I use for watching videos and play games
      - I just need a phone that can perform well for years so that I don’t need to replace my phone so frequently
      - No battery life issue for me cuz most of the entertainment purposes are delegated to my iPad, my phone is for calling and sending text messages, minimal social media scrolling and that’s it
      My reply is quite long😂 Hopefully you can think carefully before you decide to switch to iPhone SE3

    How’s the battery and performance bro, what power brick you’re using?

    • @englandsonlim
      @englandsonlim  2 года назад +5

      So far battery is not an issue for me as I’m not an intensive phone user as I don’t play any game on this iPhone eventhough I know this phone has the similar performance as iPhone 13. I just want a stable and long-lasting phone that’s why I buy iPhone SE. Besides, I use iPad mini 6 for movies & gaming.
      For charging, I have Apple 20W power brick from iPad mini 6 and another Apple 5W power brick from my old iPad mini 1. When I need fast charging, I use the 20W one, for charging overnight, I use the 5W one, so far the optimized charging function works for both power brick.

      I do play Mobile Legends but unfortunately not on this phone… I heard that due to this phone design, your finger will unconsciously slide out of the screen to the black top and bottom bezels… I definitely not recommend this phone for gaming, I play all my games on iPad mini 6 and I have zero game installed on this phone
