@@valve-do3jc it may be possible if you can get the screen mirror function to work but it’s better to treat the unit like a tablet because it already had the RUclips app
I would like to know a bit more... USB DAC support? Which Bluetooth codecs (phone to headunit)? Quality of digital signal? Voltages at RCA outputs? Speed of storage (Joying uses very slow storage in their SCM6125 units)? Benchmarks (SCM6125 is slow anyway...)? Brigthness at high and low light situations?
@@jimmurphy4577 there are two plugs on the rear for the USB wires. One is for the dashcam and one is for the flash drive. You can use either one to charge your phone. @@Rawrkee Thanks for the reply. I know there's usb connections in the rear. I was wondering where the other ends came out so you can attach smart phones flash drives to it? I was also looking at the X10G2A7E-R2 (still x10 series but with physical buttons) which came out in September and it has a physical USB port on the front face, though I don't know what it's actually used for.
I haven't had a chance to play with the S8 but in my experience, with many other car stereos, they seem to have a slight delay at first bootup but once the system is running, and I've opened the apps and played with them, the loading and transitions seem to be faster. It's like a web browser, on your first visit to a website, it'll take a moment to load the images and what not but once you revisit the websites, it'll be seemless.
Thank you for trying ATOTO products! Very professional review! Looking forward to more of your content!
Is this product superior to the s8 ultra?
@@miamihurricanes8306 Hi, yes X10 in our higher level serie to S8 series.
Is the obd II diagnostic scanner available for x10 or will it be?
@@Giuseppem2582 Yes the OBD2 is available for X10 models

Do they make a volume knob by chance ?
Do you know what the preout voltage is for the front, rear and sub outputs on the back of the radio??
No gesture operation to put volume up or down with hand ?

@Rawrkee does this have any security password or pin to put in? I'm worried about car getting stolen and the thief having access to my info.
