    one of the best videos for research, early-stage researchers remain oblivion to the different types of variables used in research...thank you dr. sahab for this.

    What about Confounding Variables?
    Would these be different than Control Variables.

  • @flyingsoul1002

    Hello, I have same sort of model for my research where there is one independent variable, one depenent variable, one moderator, one mediator along with two control variables. Same as the model you showed in this video. But, I don't know how to do it in SPSS. How to get the results for this model in SPSS.Can you also explain by a video to explain how to run such model in SPSS and how to extract results.

    • @RESEARCHHUB
      @RESEARCHHUB  4 года назад +2

      Of course you can estimate such a model using SPSS but that has to be done in several steps. Instead, I recommend estimation using the path analysis approach under the structural equation modelling framework. You can try using STATA or Smart-PLS for this. Our videos on this are coming soon but you will find some out there. Munim.

    I'm really confused about moderators/control variables. For example, if age, sex, origin and annual income can all affect the relationship between the IV and the DV, how can I choose if they will be treated as moderators or control variables in my model? 🤔

    • @RESEARCHHUB
      @RESEARCHHUB  2 года назад

      in that case, the will act as moderators. it depends on your hypothesized relationships and conceptual model.
