  • The session focuses on developing a basic understanding of Independent, Dependent, Mediating, and Moderating variables. Additionally the session also guides on how to propose different hypothesis based on these variables in a research framework.

    Is it possible to have both mediating and moderating variable in one model? I’m not talking about a variable having the possibility of being a moderating and mediating variable. I’m talking about 2 different variables, and one being a moderator, and one being a mediator.

    Many thanks Prof. please do you have a video on how to use SPSS to run both mediating and moderating variables

      Thanks. I am glad you liked it. Please you can refer to the playlists section on the channel to learn how to use AMOS/SmartPLS/SEMinR/SPSS for Mediation and Moderation.

    Sir, if we want to check the impact of financial literacy on investment decision then which test should we use?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад

      Since, it is impact and if both are variables measured on likert scale, go for regression. May be in spss or smartpls

    Sir, what's the best way to control for demographic variables that are covariates? Theoretical backing OR controlling for every single demographic variable that comes out significant for your DVs in your correlation? I am finding scholars discouraging the latter because it is like overfitting a model. Is that true?

      @@researchwithfawad No no, I am not asking the procedure on how to code demographics. I am asking how does one decide an XYZ demographic variable could be a covariate and hence should be controlled for main analysis. Theoretical basis OR we check all correlations of demographic variables with DVs and control all significant ones as covariates?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  Год назад +1

      You may based it on the existing literature, even if you do not have theoretical underpinning, each study has its own context, and controls may change.
