    I've just done it. So quick and easy. I'm not a perfectionist and I did nearly scream when I put the clippers through the hair on the top cos it looked like loads was coming off but I persevered and it actually looks good so thank you for a quick and easy haircut 👍

    I've been using clippers to cut my hair short since 2009. The hardest part for me is the back. I tried using those mirrors you hang on back of door, but I must have directional issues because when I'm supposed to go one way, my hand goes in opposite direction. It's laughable so I do it by feel and pray.

    • @IExpectedBSJustNotThisMuchBS
      @IExpectedBSJustNotThisMuchBS 23 дня назад

      I don't use clippers... I use a razor comb (the shortest to shape the back and scissors, but I have have the same issue with the mirror. I just use the mirror to check to see what needs done and if I accomplished it. Here checking out whether a razor is easier. Due to the shape of my face (and how easy it is for me to look overly masculine), I need some more hair on the side and in front of the ear) and so I could never do this particular cut, but I do like the back to be tight to my head.

    Thank you for this video. I have a special needs child who have poor head and neck control. I have always been the one to cut her hair and it always gets tangled at the back because she always rests her head. This is very helpful! Can't wait to try it. 😊

    Please make more of these clipper only tutorials, because I don‘t really have the budget to buy new scissors and the ones I have are dull. Only really good for taking of the excess length or my mothers thin hair. But they don‘t go through my thick hair anymore.
    Luckily I bought myself a semi good clipper set, that I maintain well when I need it every couple of months, so these clipper only tutorials are a dream come true.
    Really love the tutorial, especially since I don‘t have the money to go to a hairdresser regularly to maintain a short haircut.
    Amazing trick, I always struggled with the back and having heavy edges because of that "weight-line", and like this will let me get some hair off without making holes 😂

    I like the technique using only clippers but I wish you had explained more about where you had the side lever set, or what you used as a hair length guide when you moved from doing the back/sides to working on the top. Also wish there were more straight-on views of the sides as you were cutting them instead of watching from behind the head.

    God no 😮it’s too severe like a bowl cut /skinhead lol 😅I use clippers undercut in a triangle shape downwards to a point to the centre of the nape only - and the top is with razor trimmer and scissors to create the layers and scissors proper for around the ears . That lifts the top more too for that feminine “ lift”.

    I missed how you cut the top section such that the hairs toward the front of the head and face are longer. You cut a lot of the top hair from the side of the head but our view was from the back of the head.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH PAUL!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!!❤ I do have another request of you don't mind. I have a client coming into my salon on August 14 wanting a Mohawk. I was there the day this kid was born, Mom is one of my closest friend of 30 + years. I have never done a Mohawk and really, really, really don't want to mess it up. I've got a couple of mannequins lined up to work with prior to that. I like to see several different stylists techniques. THANK YOU!!!😁~APRIL LIPKE

    Its best to cut the long hairr from long to short hairstyles instead of go straight to short hair!
    Then we can view different hairstyles!

    Nice cut but not really feminine enough. I would’ve added some curls at the top and a sweep bob curl across the forehead with smaller ones in the neck area to give it a bit more of a softer look but this is still a very nice and simple pixie cut.

    I've heard the term "over-direct" a hundred times. Still no clue what it means. 🤷🏼

    • @Parsnip5782
      @Parsnip5782 4 месяца назад

      I believe it means, that you take a strand of hair and stretch it away from the direction you want it to fall.
      So if, for example, you cut curtain bangs you take the left strand and stretch it to the right side, across your face, so if you then cut it parallel/straight, it will fall in layers.
      It‘s hard to explain in text, but thats what I learned from a curtain bang tutorial. Should look these up for reference since they normally always use „over-direction“ for the main cut.
      PS.: with „stretching“ the strands, I mean taking the strands between your fingers and pulling them to cut, like you do when cutting hair. Don‘t know what words to use otherwise😂

  • @dianasthings729
    @dianasthings729 2 года назад

    Not bad I like the bangs at the end, but I like mine shorter. I can't stand my hair in my face. The back is a little too short. I don't like seeing a scalp. I can see why you usually use scissors because the clippers make it choppy looking.
