Am I alone in enjoying the videos of successes more than failures? I love the successful ones! I don't think they're boring at all. It's always an adventure to try cutting your own hair - even the best stylists can't see the back of their heads - so that's where the drama in the video is for me. I vastly prefer the ones where everything works out in the end.
You can learn anything on YT especially on this channel! My fourteen year old grand niece (I am guardian) asked me to trim her hair and give her bangs during lockdown. I said sure but after your virtual classes. Well, she didn't want to wait and got carried away with scissors. She butchered her whole head especially in the bangs area and comes to me crying. I watched some videos and cut her a cute little pixie that looked amazing and hid the area she cut down to the scalp. I was really nervous because while I do cut boys hair regularly at home, I've never cut a pixie on a girl especially my niece who is short on patience and very impulsive.

I'm so sorry for your loss :( your hair sounds LOVELY and I'm sure the dark teal is gonna look so cool on you! bright colored hair certainly brightens up your life, and I'm glad it's helped you find some happiness again
I’m with you! I started using AF purple passion when I was about 57. Best mood lift I ever had. I’m 67 now and still doing shades of purple, it fades so well with grey, I cut my own hair too. I get compliments from young people all the time and have fun conversations. I’m sorry about the loss of your son, it seems grief is what shows us the grit we have inside. Keep moving forward with grace.
Sounds like you're living your best life after so much sadness. But you should try Xmondo!!
@@lunatwinkin2270 ...I'd love to try xmondo, but it is too expensive for my finances. I'm also on disability from a serious accident 15 years ago...SSI...and that is actually BELOW poverty level income yearly. I even have a housing voucher because I can't make any rent and all expenses of living, on what this government gives people to live on once they become unable to work regularly. I really want to try them though, and wish I could afford to try them.
The last gurl was like just adorable. We love a good pixie
100% learned to thin/feather/layer hair doing summer haircuts on our terrier dogs growing up. And I've never noticed a huge difference between those shears and my pro people ones.
I hate it when I’m wearing a jacket and the sleeves just fall off! Right Brad? You just picked yours up, put em back on and moved on.
😂
Lmao! Most of us would have sewn then back on! Not Brad he's so awesome he just wears them! 😂
Lmfao!!!😆🤣🤣
Im dead 😂
Well, okay Rapunzel! Isn't it obvious? We all think your hair is stunning, that's why we're rendered speechless every time you slay a new cut ✨💖
I love how Brad always has a kind word for everyone no matter what. 💗
As someone who's had hair past her shoulders and went straight for a pixie cut, it is SOOOO liberating to just chop it all off!! It's a very freeing experience! If you've ever thought about doing it, just do it! It's only hair and it will grow back! I keep getting the itch to cut mine again!!
Brad can we talk about the denim and long hair look is absolutely a MOMENT! Love you so much and absolutely looking stunning as always 💕
I went to a professional when I decided to do the big chop but I should've did it myself. These videos always make me feel like I can do it myself 😂
Right? I do some trimming at home, but usually get a big chop every couple of years. These videos make me think I can do it myself. 😂
My hair is super, super thick and down passed my rear end. I’ve been cutting my own hair since the 80’s. I’ve always done what is now dubbed the “wolf cut” and I still love it! Having said that, I’d love to have Brad actually do my hair. Love this guy ♥️
Honestly, seeing a happy Brad because someone is doing a pretty good job is actually a vibe
I am loving this hairstyle on him. It literally looks so good
I am obsessed with these videos, I've had a shaved head with occasional random long bits since 1997. I'm just not into styling my own hair coz it has a mind of its own but looove watching other people do these amazing transformations 💜
This jacket ROCKs! My wedding dress has sleeves like that!
I watched your butterfly cut and it reminded me of how I styled my hair back in the 2000’s, and I successfully achieved the look!! Thank you Brad Mondo!! Looking out for ALL of us ladies!!
the last girl looked SO CUTE!!!!!!!!! it really upgraded her look!
We always talk about how good Brad’s head hair looks.. but can we talk about how good his eyebrows look?? Nice and thick and luscious and beautiful ✨✨
2:35 fr, like dont worry babe. you hair is BEAUTIFUL, people will die for your amazing hair.
So glad you reacted to Victoria Rae, I watched her video earlier and was so impressed!
Oh my gosh, the second girl made me gasp. Her cut is so gooood. It's a perfect look on her. So cute! 🎉
Your hair looks so long and fabulous we were just speechless! 💜
I watch these to remind myself that I cannot do this. That one girl had me thinking I could use her as a tutorial... somebody stop me😂
I love that brad finds popular ppl on RUclips and also people who have like 500subs. He watches everyone and everyone watches him ❤
Omg the girl at the end is so stunning i love her!
“A lot of dogs have human hair.” - Brad Mondo, 2022
I wish I recorded my hair journey! I went from full afro to mohawk to bleaching it myself and now I have been the whole rainbow!! And all thanks to you Brad!!
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Must be nice to be ridiculously cute in the face because they all pulled it off so well regardless of the jankyness lol
second girl literally has hair goals speaking of texture 😍 wavy volume kinda thick kinda thin omg omg looks like dyson hair but in a natural way 😍😍
You know what’s the problem? Brad gives us too much confidence and makes us think we can all cut hair perfectly hahah
I so appreciate that you put in a good (non-pro) haircut! Sometimes too many fails in a row can get heavy and defeating, but it's a nice reminder that if you pay attention, do your research, and actually APPLY that research it's possible to get good results.
When I do a pixie cut...I shave my back and sides using a 5 guide or 4...makes it sooooo much easier!
Damn the second girl really killed it, she looks so friggin cute!! Ps Brad your hair is lookin’ hella long and fabulous 😉
The second girls cut looks so good!
Dude the second girl REALLY KNOWS HER SHIT ahhhhhhhhhh brad was speechless it came out amazing. She really said “experience? We don’t need her”
I love your advice. You ALWAYS have some advice in your videos, and it's always helpful!
Thanks for the video! So fun and relaxing listening to you.
the second and third girls are just adorable!!!!!
Hi beautiful watching people doing pixie hair cuts with 0 experience and Brad trying to understand what’s going on is the energy I needed today 💜
Yes, the 2nd and 3rd girls haircuts came out great.
My past self is so envious of the access to tutorials and information on HOW to cut hair that exists today haha
The ridiculously bad haircut I gave myself and just kept wearing my sophmore year of high school would like a word
Me trying to grow my hair!!! All these girls cutting there's off!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂💜💜💜💜💜Love you Brad!!!! 😘😘😘😘
You should make a video about different types of really short hair! Not just pixie, so we could have a little diversity!
I actually gasped when the second girl reveilled her haircut. Absolutely stunning
Brad, your bob hairstyle is giving me major glam vibes! You rock any haircut, that is for sure 💕 sending you love all the way from Brazil!
The 1 girl looked like a young Madonna from her Papa don’t Preach Era!
2nd girl killed it!! Wow very impressive
It’s hilarious to hear the people who is cutting their hair for the first time (mostly) tell us how to cut hair, they try to explain why they cut this way, that way, smh, all after when they say “I am not a hair dresser or professional. *plz note* we watch these videos for the laughter not to take notes! ✌🏻🇺🇸💪🏻👊🏻🤘🏻🇺🇸
3:56 Diana vibes for the first girl
I feel anne Hathaway too both classic 💫
I like how I actually get A LOT of actual tips and tricks and hair knowledge from these videos
Brad, I’ve noticed your hair growing out and it looks great! I just assumed you’re working your way to the mullet you’ve wanted. Excited for for every hair style you show us, you seem to be able to pull off any color or style. Show us how it’s done, Brad 😁❤️
Tbh I think with curly hair even a half good hack job can look good, it's all in the styling 🙃 speaking as someone who has cut their own hair for ten years, there's minimal issue as long as you're not intending to straighten it 🤣🤣🤣
I love your reactions when it turns out good in the end
Almost as much as I love seeing people feel good in their bodies ❤
Fails??? the HECK!!! yall are a bunch of cuties, not a single fail in the bunch!
Hey beautifuls! 👋🏾😊
the dog grooming kit is nothing given how many of these chop jobs we’ve seen that involved the dullest of scissors or what basically amounted to a butter knife 🍴🤣
I have been inspired to cut my hair as a wolf cut (from the bravery of these girls) and from many videos you made. Thank you xxxx
I buzzed my hair off with dog hair clippers. They worked really well, if I'm perfectly honest. I had a nice even 1/3 inch fuzz over my whole head that I then bleached and dyed a beautiful pale pink
Omg don't tempt me!! I've been getting the hair cutting itch these past few days and I have an electric dog hair trimmer 😭
@@Moocow2003 Lol I'd been debating it for years. I'd had long hair until a few months before that and wanted to go straight from long to buzzed, but my mom talked me out of it, so I had a pixie cut in between the long hair and buzz cut.
I seriously wish I had the nuts to do that!!
That was the first thing I noticed when you started talking…. Your hair grew long! Love it!🫶🏻💓
Congratulations Brad. Several videos ago you said you wanted long hair again, then you started growing it out, and look at you now; you've passed the awkward mushroom stage successfully taming it along the way. I commend you on your patience in resisting the urge to chop it off again. I hope you soon have the long flowing locks of your dreams.
Oh, and... *cough *
Slayyyyy! Werk that slicked back bob serving "I just ran my hands through my hair & it came out effortlessly perfect" realness.
😉❤
(Note: I mean this both sincerely & playfully)
Loving your haircut the color is dope
12:05 Who else was "Nooooo don't do it? When she whipped out the clipper 😂The 2nd girl is my fav, they did really well
Pixies with a bit of curl look so nice, wish I could have that, but I will have to stick to my straight bob...now maybe I could start thinking about some layers🤔
