कलाजीवी : मुसाफिर राम भारद्वाज / An Interview with Musafir Ram Bhardwaj From Bharmaur Chamba

He born in 1930 to Deewana Ram at Sunchai village, Bharmour area in Chamba district, Himachal Peadesh, India. He had no formal education. He learned playing Pauna Mata from his father at the age of 13, and has played ever since. He performed at 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. He is also an agriculturist and tailor. He has four sons and two daughters.
Paun Mata is a traditional music instrument made of copper drum and lamb’s skin. Bhardwaj family have been playing it for generations and they are invited to play during religious and social ceremonies in Himachal Pradesh.

-Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, in 2014

You great scholar, 😊 can't you read the title of the video 🤔 We haven't mentioned that any kind of his performance is included in this video.
Firstly, It was not an easy task to go to bharmaur, which is situated in Chamba Distt. of Himachal Pradesh. Secondly it was also a difficult job to find this man. He is about 90 and due to very poor health, he is not even able to speak. Due to old age, weakness and illness, he can't play his instrument now. That time his instrument was not with him, so we could not even see it.
Above all, He is a very simple person, not a rock star or celebrity. He doesn't have even his good pics and you are talking about his 'Musical Concert'. What a pity.

Really sorry. We also tried to find some recordings, but there is no such recordings available. He is really a very simple man. He hasn't documented or preserved his pics and performances.
