In other words, if you do react to it, watch the show first, then the movie Also i don’t know if you’ve heard of a youtube series called Murder Drones, but it’s also really good, shorter, and ongoing, it currently has 5 episodes (6th one just got a teaser) but idk if that’s your style and I’m really only recommending this cuz I’m hyper-fixating HARD lmao, Hilda is definitely more The-Owl-House-like I just wanted to recommend those haha

This season really feels more serialized than the first. Even before word came in that the third season had been shortened, this season had more ”big” plot points per episode
Everyone always brings up Odalia’s behavior, but no one ever brings up Alador’s behavior. He basically ignored Odalia’s abuse on Amity and let her do whatever she wanted and didn’t care about anything that was happening until he saw Amity go up against the Abomatron,which he could’ve stopped at any moment, since he was the one who created it, but chose not to. He could’ve at any moment chose to step in and stop Odalia. No where in the episode did it look like he was being forced to go along with Odalia or that he had no choice but to let her do what she wanted,nor were there any moments that showed that he actually felt bad for Amity. He didn’t look scared in the slightest of Odalia through out the whole episode and showed no fear at all when he stood up to her. Not to mention that he just stood by and watched as Odalia tried to kill Luz and only decided to step in when he saw how strong Amity’s magic had gotten and the potential. He probably didn’t even consider to tell Amity that Odalia wanted to expel her friends or how she would feel about it. He’s a bad parent and just as responsible as Odalia.
These were the episodes where I began to really resonate with the characters. Like they're great and cool in season 1, but like when Luz just gives Gwen that somber wise and understanding, "I can see you need more time" that's a level of compassion I aspire to
"Why do you just have that in your hair?" The woman literally has scrapbooks from school in her hair...and chips...and rats...why not a momento of meeting King?
The show goes from 0 to 50 to 1,000 as soon as the second season starts. Even if you find most of S1 boring, waiting for the show to pick up the pace really pays up. It's just one shock after the other, non stop, to the point where you even kinda start missing when the characters were (mostly) happy.
What LUz said when she went to get Amity's job back was, according to Krystalogy and as she put it: "She's gonna fight for her" (might not have been a direct translation)

Dude this whole season was just coming for me- like everything about it is phenomenal but very traumatic, and don't you worry I think you will LOVE the next batch of episodes especially episode 7 and 8- also we didn't think we'd get a Lulu and Hootsifer friendship (and we got King's backstory which had me as well) but we did and I ADORE them they are so cute! And dude when I first saw Amity saying "Stay away from MY Luz", Amity with her hair down and Luz panicking, Amity with her new purple hair and kissing Luz on the cheek I legit FREAKED that was just AMAZING and ADORABLE- and yep Willow has two Dad's which I love! Lastly by the way get ready for the next batch you will DEFINITELY need tissues! 😅 Anyways I can't wait for you to check out more of The Owl House and other Shows/Movies, I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy!

I was really hoping for 7 episodes this week because 6 and 7 are some of my favorites in the entire show but I guess I have something to look forward to
I decided to break season 2 up into 5 episodes per video and then 6 on the last one to get all 21 episodes in without one video being abnormally shorter than the others. But I’ll be back next week for more episodes!

For anyone wondering about Gus’s sudden growth and voice change; the VA went through puberty during the end of season 1, so Dana decided to age up the character. Also, episode 2 of this season is where we meet Alador and the prick (I have refused to call her by name since episode 20 and I’m not about to start now)
If you ever watched the 1st trailer for this season 1-5 was basically what you got and after that you would be blind. other trailers came out two with the 2nd half of the season. episode 4 was the start of a fan theory meme "Creepy Luz" who is she? how did she come to exist? episode 5 was when the fandom when nuts for the Lumity ship but a hand full of people still didn't call it "Confirmed" yet it also had a few people mad that a Gus episode was over shadowed by the ending Also the start of Journal speculation the next trailer goes as far as episode 10 with clips Episode 10 is also the break between seasons. Months with out new episodes where we REAL speculated and it was the point when we learned that season 2 was the last full season and season 3 was only part. you'll notice from this ;point onward the writers change things up as thye are now trying to cram a few seasons of plot in to the last half and had to drop or change a threw story lines. most of the info in one of the trailers came from episode 6 but some of episode 10 was in the trailer and many fans thought the episode 10 clip would be in episode 9. the next trailer had clips from episode 17 but drew MOST of its clips from episode 11 nothing major was spoiled in any of the episodes two characters had the top haves of there faces reveled threw Dana's fan art fan speculation on them was wrong too. the next set of episodes really goes wild with fan theories and debates and mysteries but at THIS point the only focus we had was "Creepy Luz" and "The Journal" we got hyped for Amity's new look and progress but a lot of attention was on the "Other Luz"
Slight expectation spoilers✨ Honestly, the next set of episodes are gonna be real fun (E6-10)! After that, I'm interested what she'll think of E11-15 especially on E12, a certain ship, and a certain fact about Luz. And then, E16-21, everything just goes out the window. I remember how, especially for E16, the speculations, and then the episode premiered, and everyone just went crazy, not expecting... everything that happened, especially with the background...photo frames (I'm saying that as to not spoil anything). And then E17 the week after! She's gonna watch them in a row....oh man...
It always bothered me that Amity’s mom was so insistent on “upholding the Blight family name” when she probably isn’t even a Blight by blood!!!!! If their marriage customs are the same as ours, she married in and for most of her life was part of a different family!
So what are you gonna do when you get to season three or all three episodes going to be their own video or in one video because each episode in season three is about an hour long
I’m not sure! I don’t want to do all 3 in one video. Maybe the first two in one and then the third in it’s own? I don’t love any of the options but not sure what to do. All 3 in one video would be too much I think
I won't say much out of risks for spoilers, but I will say this(feel free to not read if you want nothing) I got very confused for a second because the thumbnail looks very similar to a later episode...just make sure you have tissues nearby at all times.
