Arthur Edwards MBE is a national treasure, one of life's gents! I recently purchased Arthur book "Behind the Crown", I only found out about this beautiful book recently, I don't think this book has been advertised enough, its worth buying its a wonderful piece of history.
I am waiting for my copy of Mr Edwards’ book to arrive.

Thank you for the info regarding the book. I will definitely purchse it. The late Queen Elizabeth was a woman whose life I followed for 61 years from the time I was 10 years old. I'm sure this book is a treasure.
He seems like a wonderful man. I feel for him when he talked about how H has changed towards the British press you can hear the hurt in his voice.
As 82 years old he has aged well.

I love Arthur. He is such a decent human.
I have learned a lot by listening to his interviews with acounts of his personal interactions.
If I just listened to the anti monarchists, and never encountered people like this, I might have remained oblivious to the fact that some of the royal family are indeed very likable people.

Until the Megxit, I was rather indifferent to the monarchy. Now, I have made it quite an important aspect , getting to know so much more than I would have done otherwise.
Previously I had bought into the media portrayal of Princess Diana.
It was quite an education to find that there was so much more that we were not told.

She was very young & definately not prepared. She was a troubled soul which I put down to her unhappy childhood. But, that also brought the latent nastiness out in her. I state the fact that she was human & fallible. I loved Diana - as did everyone who didn't know her personally. I admire how much she cared for the needy & the sick. She knew Harry was a problem but she did a good job with William. But, then he did have her compassion & looks.

The Monarchy brings in Billions annually in tourism dollars and I believe King Charles just donated close to a billion dollars to the British people. He is a Constitutional Monarch and not the PM! The people elect those who make policy they end up living with, not the Monarchy.

The King not only walked her down the aisle. The King also paid for all of the wedding expenses; paid for the dress she wore in the engagement photo; and paid the tens of millions of dollars for her designer clothes when she was a working Royal. He also paid for their security the first year after Megxit!
It really is demoralizing and disheartening for outsiders to hear of such things. Charles seems to have thought too: "What M wants, M gets". Total indulgence. THAT wedding was a scandal and an embarrassment even before the beginning of it.
She paid for her own gown and how many YEARS are you people going to drone on about this nonsense? Its been almost 7 years. Goodness!

The King didn't pay for nothing, cause their was no king... they made more money off the global wide event, that was televised...he walked her down but she paid for her wedding, they let the people think that, you know the BRF never explains or complains except to the tabloid mafia media so let the people of the realm believe how generous they were...Not..plus they have her wedding gown in a museum which Meghan paid for which is normal, making money on it...I want my girl to get her gown back for Lilibet Diana... Meghan had her own wardrobe full of designer clothes and shoes, Charles told Harry he had no money for her, and that she should continue to work as an actress...the 80 billion he has was not for sharing, even Harry shopped at t j Maxx his shoes were worn out with holes, the Queens grandson, prince Charles son...you should read a book entitled Spare...Charles took care of no one...maybe that's why William was bought out..he took the money and hid it from Harry...shameful

"After he married Meghan" seems to be a common comment from people who know the RF very well.
He hasn’t changed, his wife gave him confidence to be himself, it was all there in his heart brewing for years.
Confidence? How does that apply to all his whining and dissing his family? Confidence is a positive, not a negative. The new element to all this is his wife.
It might be 50/50, he resented being royal, but getting married and being harassed by the press made him fed up.
