Love the setup for that pond. I just made a pool pond in my basement minus a enclosure for it . This coming summer/fall I'm going to make my own version of what you have done with your enclosure, for outdoors in winter here in MI . Thanks for the inspiration !
Thanks Lisa. It’s quite a lot of work but good fun. I’m looking forward to thinning them out. I’ll definitely be heeding Ricks advice next year though.
@@aquaticfanaticsuk I use stage 1 food from Queni Koi and supplement with brine shrimp and daphnia. Trying to hatch enough is the problem. The bigger ones will move to stage 2 food in the next week or two.
@1973cashy It would be nice if there was a period of time we could get a nice daphnia culture going before spawning season in the UK but it seems as soon as the frosts are gone the pond fish are breeding
Cheers Jamie. I’ll be giving some way. Only issue I have is being able to get them to people. If you fancy coming over on the 1st of June you’re more than welcome. 👍🏼
Nice update 👍 Cashy

Looking good Cashy that's alot of fry you giving them away or are you just sorting through them and culling the ones you don't want?
