This is wrong! Outer Island needs more Medical care! This is where our politicians need to step up! FIGHT for our people! God bless this Ohana and all those who need medical care like me
Been years! I thought Queens took over years ago. Before my aunt passed away 20+ years ago, was Head nurse and kwpt pressing Molokai hospital to get what is needed to be self sufficient. But even now.sigh
The woman who gave birth at home is so beautiful! Wow. Beautiful baby too. Why will hawaii not supplement a physicians income to come to the island? The people deserve to have health care. Are there no doctors, but one there now? I could help.
It’s almost as bad on the big island. We fly to Oahu also, no doctors, my dentist has no hygienist. Medical system was bad here to being with now it’s just horrible. If ya wanna die in peace move to Hawaii.
@@roythousand13 Then show us the treaty of annexation wherein our internationally recognized sovereign Hawaiian Kingdom relinquished its sovereignty to the US, go ahead, I’ll wait.

You need to see Hawaii as one state. The islands separated by water does not make it a separate entity. Molokai is 66 miles from Oahu. My daily roundtrip to work is 52 miles. Costs make it impractical to give every island everything they need.
This need is terribly heartbreaking. Kupuna deserve better.
I’m not shocked but great it’s been covered by media

This is no surprise. It has been like this on all outer islands since the beginning of time.
Molokai people need to step up and become their own medical professionals.
