Wow I love the plaid!
You probably don't want kids to play with bleach, but this might be a good project for them to watch an adult create. It would be a "Magic Science" project where they learn a chemical reaction without even realizing they are learning science. It was interesting to see how the green disappeared first and the blue took longer to fade. You could have them look up the properties of colors and ink ingredients to find out why there was a difference between the 2 colors.

Beautiful cards! Have you tried using a brayer when using background stamps? It can be easier on the hands. I love the amalgam ink!

Gina, once you've used a water brush with bleach, is it okay to use with water afterwards? Or once used for bleach, that's it and it should only be used for bleach? I love the effect, and yes, I've stamped with bleach on colored card stock, but not used in this way.
Can this technique work with printed cardstock or does it have to be done on paper that you've inked the background?
Does the bleach damage the water brush at all? Do you just clean it with plain water, Gina?
I just rinse it in plain water and haven't had any problems at all. I do use this one specifically for bleach. :)
What an amazing effect! I can't bare the smell of bleach, is there anything I can use to get a similar effect?
Jane Starling Maybe hydrogen peroxide...just an idea...i haven't tried either but I know hydrogen peroxide is also used as a bleaching agent.

Is the mic right by the stamps as you pat on the ink? So loud!
What a great technique! Great cards. Do you see any issues with using alcohol markers over the bleach area? Bearing in mind the embossing power may ruin the marker nibs.
I have waited until it's totally dry and haven't had any problems. :)
I'm guessing it doesn't bleach the embossing powder... Would this technique work with the black ink and clear embossing powder?
Yes, it would as long as the embossing powder is completely covering the black ink. :)
