Bo my Polacy jesteśmy strasznymi malkontentami, na dodatek, przez to okropne, narzucone nam sowieckie dziadostwo, w którym musieliśmy 45 lat żyć, zakompleksieni, niepewni siebie. Dlatego jeśli jakiemuś zagranicznemu gościowi coś się u nas podoba, jesteśmy mocno zdziwieni, nawet zszokowani. 😅
There's absolutely beautiful salt mine, on UNESCO heritage list, in the suburbs of Cracow/Krakow, called Wieliczka. Only 20 minute train ride from main railroad station. Very much worth to see. Cracow is the most beautiful and second largest city in Poland. It was Polish capital for many centuries.. Many tourist attractions/places may be very overcrowded. Great food. Not too expensive.
I am heading to Poland this Wed, Sept 6th. Going to spend 10 days there and the idea is to drive the entire Country and stop on the main Cities. Krakow is the 1st one. Great video!
@trikizmechaniki Only 10 days wasn't enough to see 😪 other places. Traffic is one of the main problems to moving around in Poland. But I had the chance to visit Krakow, Warsaw, Marlkbork, Wroclaw, Wadowice, and Berlin, Germany. Krakow was my favorite. Poland people are very helpful also. Another thing I noticed is that far you go like into rural areas, the less chances you have to find someone that speaks English. Definitely you need a guide to move around in Poland, without that is almost impossible. The language is very difficult to pronounce, but I learned the basic, like saying thank you and good morning. My video is coming soon from my experience. I will talk about Auschwitz and other things about Poland and Berlin. Beautiful country and nice people!
I haven't lived in Poland for years, but I come every year to visit family and friends. Year after year, I watch my home country develop rapidly and become even more modern. At the same time, I am amazed by the great care for our heritage, the renovation of Old Towns, openness to tourists and cordiality to people. Poland has changed a lot since I lived there as a young man. A few years ago, my then 10-year-old daughter gave me a huge lump in my throat when she asked me: Daddy, why don't we live in Poland? Everything is much nicer and better there than where we live...
We leave this afternoon for 6 weeks in Central Europe so this series has been awesome! Thanks for all the good information and positivity. And I really like seeing the shots of the people you've been taking :) Very respectful - I bet they love it!
