Playwright theme is my favorite but the best is LE boss(forgot his name but iirc its Kreide) theme. So beautiful and sad at the same time especially on phase 2. Its like the music portrayed on how Kreide finally lost all his sense and we had no other choice but to defeat him.
Lingering echoes boss(White) music always gets me :( All of the sudden the music turns hollow and sad and for Andoin, I think he's top 2 for me, i love that beat drop
I love Ishar-mla's theme, so immaculate I can imagine what is happening from music alone. 40:43 It starts very heroic, facing a great foe, the very god of the sea. 41:02 It then confronts our hero againt this beast of abysmal proportion 41:20 the hero faces his foe, a sense of challenge and daring washes over him 41:40 its eldritch body sings, reminding our hero what this monster was or- rather, who it was. 42:00 But the hero pushes on, his will unwavered, a crescendo rises 42:18 he clashes with the foe before him, his fate unknown, left to our imagination from the ominous chorus of sirens Truly, a battle of worthy of heroes Or probabbly me being too dramatic lol.
Andoain, Will of We Many, Ishar-mla and The Last Steam Knights boss themes are my absolute favorites!!! Especially for Zarro's boss theme, straight banger!!!
I just don't think it fits in very well thematically compared to the other boss themes, it sounds fine to me but it doesn't feel like something that makes sense in the setting to me.

The Phantom Crimson Solitaire boss theme will always be one of my faves, heck I even hum it whenever I face him in IS2. Guide Ahead, Ideal City and Il Siracusano themes are also such amazing bangers.

Close-up viewing shows that Andoain's sprite actually sports a serious and intense expression. Interesting. Because in-game visual is blurry (the Light unto Sufferers effect doesn't help), I've always thought that he is perpetually sad-faced. Also his gun seems to be an arquebuse.
One of the vignettes a few months back featured a boss rush where you were put in a Sargon Jungle (Gavial Event) tileset against Faust (Main Story), Big Ugly (Gavial Event), Sarkaz "Knights" (Maria Nearl), and Patriot (Main Story) in sequence. It was interesting, to say the least. Also one particularly wacky encounter I ran into during Crimson Solitaire put me up against Szewczyk, Viviana, and Tytus (Plastic/Candle/Left-handed knights) All at the same time. Sub-boss rush, maybe, but it was pretty brutal. I think it would be interesting if they had a mode where you face off against all bosses and sub-bosses to date with same-event/episode ones deploying together. Maybe a pain to pull off but interesting nonetheless.
YASSSS! The one Christmas gift I look forward to every year now! At first I was kinda disappointed by Manfred's part, then I got halfway in, woo! The models all looking so good and the themes amazing! We got giant robots, giant drones, knights, an ELS reject from Gundam 00 and so on!
