I truly think she doesn’t realize how rare and loved she really is. She’s a artistic mythical unicorn. Greatest live performer this world has yet to witness in my opinion. There will never be another Florence. It’s like she’s a super shy person, but when she gets on stage it transforms her into a fierce independent woman. Then she makes this invisible connection with followers that becomes very visible as soon as she steps on stage. It’s such an incredible experience that she’s perfected for the world to see. Sooooo, many women gravitate to her because between her lyrics and her performance it gives them all a sort of liberation. It’s almost like when Florence makes that rare connection in EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE it’s therapy for not only Florence, but also the followers that relate so much to the lyrics, and she expresses those lyrics in such a way while performing that you can feel it right down to your very core. If all musical artists did this and had that type of connection with their followers I think this world would be in a much better place.
Thank you SO MUCH for guiding Florence and allowing her to speak her mind about her creating and establishing this album. This felt very organic and open.
Her meaning behind “The Bomb” was incredible to hear because it related so much to my personal love life and how it feels to be unrequited in love even though it’s not so much love as it is a need for a muse. The song is getting me through a hard time and I appreciate it so much ❤
Florence has to be one of the most honest and genuine and bone fide rock n roll songwriters of her generation. As a writer (in a very different field), I can understand some of what she goes through and applaud her stamina, resilience and continued creative genius. She is one of a kind and should be treasured.
Wow I loved this interview so much, thank you so much Florence for going through the album track by track and giving us an insight on how these songs came about and your intended meaning behind them. But as she suggested, the true magic behind music is that we will all interpret songs differently, and in a way that makes most sense to us and our experiences. This is the best interview I've seen of Florence where the interviewer has just let her talk freely and have her say. For future albums, please do a track by track just like this! I saw Florence 2 weeks ago in Dublin, and I am still riding the high, just amazing! Her voice is next level, but it is her writing that makes her shine. You can feel what she feels when she's singing, and her lyrics are so relatable ... Free and Hunger are my anthems. Thank you Florence for embracing your true individual spirit!
Oh so i've been catching up with interviews and all and i'm a little late but this has to be my fav so far, I love to get some insight from her for every song, she's an amazing artist and person I'm so glad she's still sharing her craft with us, Love you Florence thank you
Wow! Fascinating. Such genuine and raw feelings coming out of this interview. Awesome insight into an awesome album - no doubt her best since Ceremonials. I can't help getting this sentiment of liberation bursting out of this album, like she's finally released her voice, allowed herself to sing again, a lot more than in albums 3 and 4. Her poetry and the world that is connected to it, the fantasy, are truly inspiring. Thank you for the gift of your music, Florence + The Machine
I'm not sure she can ever top Ceremonials but all her albums are A+ material, especially compared to most everything else coming out of the music industry these days.
Choreomania is beyond creativity and I’ll soon get it tattoed somehow. Definitely captured some feelings thoughts ans experiences in my life with few words and so much emotion at the same time in it. I also really like Cassandra and she did a great job with this album
Sometimes she looks out of place bc it looks like she doesn’t belong in some places. She doesn’t look like she’s from this time so it’s a bit weird to see her in this setting lol
It takes courage to put your feelings out in the open in a song it's a really vulnerable position to be in. Anyway If I could give her an advice it would be she can do both being an artist and have a family if she really wants one otherwise she will find herself at an old age with a big regret and feeling lonely.
subjective, society views that love can only come in the form of blood family and having children and getting married but thats not necessarily happiness. if she finds happiness within herself and satisfaction with her music and work she wont be alone. plus having close friends can most times feel more like family than your actual blood relatives.
@@Iivinginfiction I said "if she really wants one" I meant if she desires to have a family she shouldn't be stopped by the idea it can hurt her as an artist there are plenty of people who managed both. I never said you have to have a family to be happy It's a matter of what she really wants.
@@someoneout-there2165 sorry to say this but you know nothing about the lives of artists like Hendrix or Joplin or Cobain and so on? Do you really believe having success in any field does automatically mean you can't feel lonely? those people had millions of fans but that didn't solve their problems.
Ashes Ashes we all fall down. Don't you ever cover your mouth Boudica we love you. It is almost as if we all manifested something terrible. And it has not gone since.

Cassandra is my favorite song of hers to run to. Now I know why it resonates so much with me

She's so brilliant. Most music artists would never need to do track by track explanations because they're all only and pointless jiggles. 🤓✌️

I get what you mean, she's so enchanting. She looks like a goddess that should be singing from celtic castles. 💖
Yeah shes an artist
38:46 This is so fascinating. Rally ties back to the concept behind 'Useless Magic'
i like in the auto captions when she laughs, it says [music]
Me and my misses absolutely love her
@florence release the songs you scraped!!!

Why would she feel alone? She's sold millions, she already has millions of babies. 💖

Shes describing her aspect patterns in her birth chart of how she's never really satisfied with her work. Two are cradles and one a T-Square.
*So she made a deal with the devil….not shocked at all & places hex s on her songs…wonderful 😂*
the way she avoided being asked about womanhood baby i know you are nonbinary
as a gta san andreas player who wants to listen to some tunes of his childhood... wha- what is this? i think i took a wrong turn somewhere
