I bet that at that time, when they recorder Blood Over Bochum concert, Amon Amarth had no idea that were creating a history. I believe that this concert stands out as their iconic live performance. Once you listen to these songs you may never go back to studio versions.
I agree! Such a great live concert. In my opinion, this is their best one ever.

Clearly, songs like North Sea Storm, Legend of a Banished Man, Across the Rainbow Bridge and especially the Dragon's Flight Across The Waves came out much better than studio versions, although the thing was obviously retouched. The sound is much too clean for a live performance, anybody who's been to any concert can tell that.
Here in 2023 and still listening... AMAZING!

I heard live version first, and I like it better than studio, that good is this performance.
I've seen Amon Amarth 3 times. One of the best live metal bands ever!

Just saw these guys monday night. I wish I could have been there when they played the old stuff. Unfortunately, I was a kid.
This is the stuff people born in my generation will never see live, I've been to one of their concerts but I like their old stuff much better.
