    This guy gave a kid from a 1000 miles away a chance to walk on and play as a true freshman...that kid was me, I will forever have respect for this man eventhough I only had him for a year. Thanks coach.

      Oh no, I've been done for years. I am now a father and a lawyer.
      I remain very thankful to Coop and my former teammate Robert Mathis that i'm hoping will be inducted into the pro football hall of fame here soon.

      I later played at North Dakota State.

    Great job coach Cooper. I teach my kids these techniques on the Highschool level. I have some good DBs this year to work with.

    Wow! Out F---N Standing Coach Cooper. LSU is DB-U and I see why. That was affirming, insightful, passionate, and eloquent. You gave it all principled and concise. I couldn't do any better and I've never seen better. I am a follower a convert and a disciple my brother, Wow!

    He was HC of my Louisville Cardinals when I was a kid, thanks for the help coach I'm a 2nd year db coach here at a Louisville hs

    I remember when he coached EMU before going to Louisville. I though he was solid then, just left too early. Great job coach!

      Kobe The god who the hell are you. Everyone in Louisville hated him besides the west end and a pos rev. Coleman! He ran the football program into the ground and still got a million dollars when he left!
