I taught children of all ages Pre-K through 5 for 32 years. I could have a class of well-behaved, well-disciplined children who turned into little nightmares when on a field trip in front of strangers. They know when they have you in a "difficult situation" and push boundaries to the ultimate limit. The Duchess was her typical gracious self in very trying circumstances. The only thing the Cambridges did "wrong" was take him to the show in the first place. He is not quite ready for prime time. It will be exciting watching him grow into a royal superstar! George and Charlotte were both exemplary. Their parents get great credit for their behavior. Soon Louis will be like his siblings. Patience to all the critics!

The Queen looked absolutely beautiful with that green dress and hat!! Her expression and demeanor on the last day showed just how happy she was with the whole celebration!! Congratulations!!!
Beautiful? Lol. She looked like a funny looking man in drag. Beauty is not something I'd associate with that family. Except for William maybe when he was younger.

- an expert on child behaviour.

- all have perfect kids themselves.
The kid is 4, is still learning and has a life non of us can imagine. Which one of us had tens and thousands of people screaming at them when they were 4 years old? I'm pretty sure every one of us would act out at some point.
No one is perfect, not this kid, not this family.
Even though William and Kate would want all of their children to partake in the Jubilee festivities with them, Louis was too young to be there and sit through all that.
Why were William or Harry nothing like that at all? Because they got a better education.

@@SM-uu6km , sympathies to you, you are absolutely insane, you don’t even know Kate. And my children are grown and I have grandchildren. And I have much joy. You are a sick individual, I hope you get the help you need. Goodbye.
That behavior is unacceptable! Better get that under control before he gets older!!!
I bet you beat your kids. Gtfoh
Ha ha ha....
4 year old sit still for 6 hours or internet parents will disapprove.
I sense a dark side of the Force in this one 😂😂😂
He will be like Andrew X10. Completely privileged and up to scandal.
He was so adorable for most of weekend's events and heroically patient. It went too far when he put his hand over mom's mouth and stuck his tongue out. They let him get in over his head, and he lost control. Also, Louis knew he had them over a barrel! Prince or not, he's only 4. Mom (or nannie) should have taken him out of the situation.
I think they prob would have but something tells me he would have lost it ,threw a tantrum stiffened up ,he looks like the kind of kid who even holds his breath,he has been allowed to get away with this behaviour BC he goes thru many antics ,what a little bigger eh.
Prince Louis, putting his thumb finger on his nose and sticking out his tongue at his mother, clearly needs some discipline. As a four year old where did he learn to put his thumb finger over his nose and sticking out his tongue? The child is a spoiled brat.
But it really kept Kate smiling infront of the camera. The lady commentator was saying, "kids will be kids". I don't believe that line.
It's actually nothing to do with you. It's not your family. Wind your neck in
totally agree. This was bullying behaviour from a future sociopath. Needs to be nipped in the bud. Not all kids hit their parents
All of these people on here thinking this is cute behavior? The world has gone mad
Older cousins and friend in school teach us that all the time. Come on! He doesn’t live in a bubble. I’m sure when he reaches Prince George’s age he won’t be doing that to his mom.
I would have gotten spanked by my Dad for disrespecting my mother.
As a baby? No wonder so come across weird

Thumbing one’s nose is a lost art… leave it to a Royal Family member to hold true to tradition! 🇬🇧🇺🇸
I’m a grown woman, myself and my geriatric mother do it to each other *frequently*.
I know! I told my 94 years old mom that I have not seen that gesture for decades! Think they are watching The Three stooges over at Buckingham palace? :-)
so true..i was thinking this. x
Doesn't it mean piss off though?
😂🤣🤣 maybe this will bring it back .
The way he treated her is not OK. I get kids act up, but this was beyond that. He was physical with her. That's not cute or cool. Making faces is one thing but this was more than that when you watch all of it.
I agree,
Kate even laughs at him
Why no colouringcolouring books?????
Sticker books!!!!
Shame on them not to give a small child something to distract.
Its a kid. Relax lol
You're right, he's out of control and belligerent. Lack of good parenting.
hes BAD ASF
He is a normal kid...
No wonder he’s the baby boy…I remember giving my mom a hard time at that age. I’m sorry mom 😂
We all did, more or less
Probs very lenient with him. 😂 the youngest usually gets away with that crap it's just a universal thing when it comes to siblings
I like how a lot of people are judging Catherine in this situation when none of them has had millions of eyes on them while they were parenting. I’ve seen toddlers dragged outta Walmart while screaming about candy.
As a child, I would have been slapped to be so cheeky. 🙂
Pun intended?
Who introduced this child to such rude behaviors?
Copying what he's seen at home maybe?
He is 4 man 💀

The fact people are trolling a 4-year-old is so absurd. Every kid at one point has done that, but the difference here was that it was caught by millions of people across the world. He is just poking fun with his mother, he is lucky he has a mom whom he can joke around with, imagine those kids who grow up without the love of a mother. Let him enjoy his life ❤❤❤❤
Not sure if its trolling, you cant ignore the royal family as theres pictures everywhere !!! The child is too young to sit that long and in front of the world he should be at home with his team of Nanny's !
So true. I did that once when i was 8 i was going on a water park with my family we stopped for petrol i stuck my tongue at the guy who was working in the petrol pump and took a picture of him without him noticing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and my mom and dad and my cousins and the whole family laughed at me for doing this . This happened in 2017
IT REMINDS ME DAMIEN FROM THE OMEN
Louis didn’t behave well…and Never a child should beat his mom
Agreee ¡¡¡¡¡¡
So true
agree, that is a boundary, but his mother found his behaviour funny, strange
Louis witnessed and witnessing what’s going on behind closed doors. .....
I love their kids so cute and so real 😂😂😂😂
My latina mother would have smacked me in the face with a chancleta
Well every culture has their traditions and customs. And my Ukrainian customs I would have been told to apologize to the grandmother for my behavior. I would have been pulled right next to the father and mother away from the grandmother not the act out. And his disrespect toward the mother have to say they would be consequences. Children have short attention span and it should have been with the nanny.
😭😂😂😂
I think Louis is starting out really really young to be that openly disregarding of his mother. Real young. And bright.
Seriously kids have tantrums. The thing that bothers me, is the hypocrisy of many in the public saying that is cute and charming. A kid hitting his parent is never cute or charming.
I agree, it is very controlling, bullying behaviour
@@beaulieuonnp593 Yes, the little boy’s behavior was bullying behavior. Some little kids sometimes behave in that manner and hopefully their parents set them right by disciplining them in order to stop such behaviors (and no I’m not saying physical discipline).
IKR? The fact that so many people think a tantruming toddler is cute and funny is very disgusting and concerning. When you enable kids to misbehave then imagine who they will become when they are older.
@@AWlpsSHOW36 . The questions is, do these people think he’s cute because of who he is, if it was a child from the common population would they feel the same way?
@@AWlpsSHOW36 it’s clear that nobody in this comment section has children lol. He’s FOUR. A tiny 4yo cannot legitimately “bully” an adult- unless that adult has the emotional maturity of a 2yo.
Discipline is an ongoing endeavour- you don’t just discipline once & have them become magically well-behaved for the rest of their childhood. 🤦🏼♀️
For those saying he's only 4, you need a good foundation for your children, you don't wait until they're 15 yrs old to teach them good manners!! He might be 4,still a kid but you also got to teach him how to behave!!
You also don't teach them by physically hurting them either.
@@nicoleadams7921 i never said that! Physical isn't the only thing available, my dad used his eyes most of the time to pass a message without saying anything nor hurting me physically!!
And that's exactly what Catherine was doing. She corrected the behaviour. Look at her older 2 children, absolutely impeccably behaved. He's 4, he's still learning, he's being taught. This wasn't a 15 year old.
@@Jmwamuchemi again, that's exactly what Catherine did. She gave him the look, she removed his hand and she spoke to him calmly but firmly. You did see that right?
I thought Prince Louis was adorable, yes, he was a little unruly, but he's only 4 and it was a long day, and Catherine handled him well, you can't expect her to slap his hands or thumb his lip with her thumb in front of millions of people, I thought she handled it very well, him having his head on her shoulder showed how much he loves his mommy
If it was Harry children you wouldn't be so nice.
That is such bull shit and it’s not really his fault. He is doing it because he gets away with it at home. Whatever kids get away with at home they will do the same in public. He didn’t slap his dad or grandad in the face. Kate has no control over that child and she doesn’t seem to be getting any real support from William with the discipline of this child. All children need to be loved and nurtured but they also need appropriate discipline to teach them boundaries.
There was nothing cute about a kid disrespecting his mother and everyone else around him except his dad and grandpa. Nanny or no nanny, Kate is either being restricted from disciplining him or she’s just not putting in the work with this child. Either way it’s detrimental to the child.
@@gloriaralls740 I don't understand how you can assume something about people you don't know. People can think Harry's kid is adorable even if the mom is full of 💩.
@@pamelajones3894 You hit upon several issues that were discussed in our home. We were both educators and so have seen 40 years of child behavior and parental intervention .I have always admired Kate's methods and she employed them this time but the child, I believe, was just too far gone emotionally by that time to respond appropriately. Like so many mentioned that event just was too long. The escalation of the behavior was the evidence that the time had passed for usual methods. I agree that the parents were constrained to take the exit strategy because of the official aspect of their attendance. I also believe, as you alluded, that there may exist some limits to action that Kate feels comfortable taking in public. Hopefully once William gets a look at the slapping, flailing behavior towards Kate a rethought strategy will be considered. A good general knows when to retreat. I know I will sound like a dinosaur, which I am, but in the past the first swing at a Mother precipitated an ushering out by the Father. Hard to do when you have duties at the end of the event. I watched the parade and missed the exit of Louis with Kate but noticed that he was missing at some point. I hope she will have a mandate in the future to remove him from the situation. I think they will pick events carefully with this little boy's temperament in mind. Some children have to have the time out, or time over, before the behavior escalates out of control.
@@gloriaralls740 Exactly, it would have been all splashed over the papers. But with William and Kate’s child they say he stole the show, how adorable. What Rubbish . He was a rude bad mannered child who needs reigning in. No wonder he gets left at home most of the time. And he will again.

He just turned 4, and they as hands on parents would know keeping him entertained would be a challenge just like the rest of us have had to deal with...but our children are not on instant view worldwide, I think it says a lot about them to have brought him along knowing at that age you can not predict their spontaneous behaviour. She is her Majesty the Queen to all of us but Gan Gan to Prince Louis. Lovely seeing Louis with his grandfather who he is obviously very comfortable with.
He is old enough to know not to put his hand in her face. Don't encourage or dress bad behavior at any age . Acknowledge it and address it for his well being.
My daughter loves to try me all the time and it can be frustrating when she doesn't listen. Despite this, we have to be patient. It doesn't matter if you are a royal or a commoner....kids will be kids. Kate is a great mom and it happens ❤️.
I don’t find a child behaving like that ‘cute’. Yes, small children can be restless and uncooperative, but this goes beyond that.
Man, if my dad ever saw me doing something like that to my mom, I wouldn't be able to sit down for a week.

Sad to hear about your father’s parenting skills….or rather lack of them
I agree. If you don’t teach them propriety in public while they’re young and respect for authority they have the potential to become lifelong hellions and spoiled entitled snots. I’m not talking about daily beatings. A parent’s attentiveness, awareness with a child’s behavior and a suitable discipline can go a long way.
