  • Upper was freshly built, clean, and lubed. This video was me function testing an upper (Diamondback barrel) that was short stroking, wanted a quick visual for myself. There was a loose tolerance between the gas block and barrel that caused it to be under gassed, and the chamber had some manufacturing imperfections that would cause the round to partially seize, both short stroking the action. I was able to "break in" the chambering imperfections and "gunk" up the gas block making a tight seal, hence this silly video of an erratic mag dump. Handguard around gas block was pretty brown after this range session. Before this video, the gun would only shoot one round and eject, but the BCG would not go far enough into the buffer tube to load then next round.
