There's also Telerin, which is spoken in Valinor. Nobody knows if the Vanyar speak Valarin, but probably not.

My only negative criticism i've been able to find about this update so far is that Harad Bazaars dont have civilians that walk around like Gondor's market, haha

You should do a video with the new Create a Hero system and show a match based on them. Pretty cool what they did with it in 8.0. Love the new Barrow Wight class.

It's not only your game man I have a feeling the patch somehow made the mod more unstable because I constantly keep crashing lately especially in those Besiege: maps. Kinda sad, great vid nonetheless! Also I love the little mistake they made on the tooltip for the golden axemen. Immunity to the infamous knoknack xD

This was a fun game, though I was a bit tilted at the end and forgot to send it in I think lol
I couldn't deal with the harad hero/heroic unit spam in combination with the mumak, should've rushed galadriel and celeborn. Lessons learned :P

Elite archers are a great counter to heroes but I think you would've had much more success if the Marchwardens focused down one hero at a time, I noticed a lot of damage was spread out over Harad's hero roster evenly and herospam does well in such situations.
Damn, such a cool faction... So many combinations to make, you could play a hundred matches before it gets old. Mahud and umbarim with cassimir for blending all kinds of infantry, harondor with suladan for traditional pike and bow lines, or flavorful evil rohirrim charges, wide variety of beasts to complement any combo, the list goes on and on. My only gripe is there are no spearmen on any building other than the harondor outpost. So against a good player you're kinda forced to build it in the early game.
Watchers of Karna are spears :) but yeah realistically early/mid game harondor outpost is your only option😊

Love your videos my man. But do you or anyone you recommend have tutorial videos on the new mechanics? Like I always kicked ass on vanilla ROTWK but I always kept my troop buildings close to the fortress, seems the total opposite in 8.0

It has been bugging me for past few videos with Haradwaith. However (and I am well aware how it may seem as a bit of an insensitive connection) that portrait of Sûladan (5:15 for example) that must have been taken out or at least HEAVILY inspired on Ghassan Massoud's portrayal of Salah al-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub from Kingdom of Heaven. Somebody please agree with me!

Idk what they did but they ruined hero exp. 3 heros got level 10 after just one mid game fight with like 5 battalions in it..... wtf. Also way too much imbalance among elite units this patch too.

Harad is really really strong easily most powerful evil faction, top 3 with woodland realm and erebor, sucks they nerfed morgul legion to the ground now mordor feels less orc fantasy.

@@flameofthewest5119 they lost 30 health lost the ability to get heavy armor 15 cp increase, 350 resource increase, and 10/30 damage nerf. That's a lot.
They have more units in a battalion, they have a lvl1 formation and come with default heavy armor

They all go random. If they pre-pick, several unbalanced strategies become possible. One of the most popular ones is Gondor + Woodland Realm, abusing the economic potency of both factions to stall until an inevitably dominant lategame.

Yo so downloaded the new version of 2.02 and got a Trojan did any of you guys get this? Cus I wanna play Age of the Ring 8.0 but 2.02 V9 giving me a Trojan doesn't make me feel like it's a good idea.
I got the same warning, it's just a false flag. You can play 8.0 safely

@@machu8900 But how can it be false? What's causing windows defender to mistake it as a Trojan? Cus people have been getting different Trojans with different names which suggests to me it's not a mistake. Telling me it's safe with no explanation on why it's false flagging isn't good enough I'm afraid, how can I be sure it actually is safe?!
@@TheCraftedCreepers95 Well Im no expert but someone who works in IT once told me that Windows automatically flags programs as virus if they don't state what certified developer released them, just to protect the owner. I can tell you you can rest assured Im using Total AV (no placement) on my PC and run it everyday to check for trojans and other menaces for my PC and so far it has not found anything ^^
@Sweeney well I'm not familiar with the technical side of it, but the modders have stated that it's safe and I haven't had any problems so it's really up to you I guess?
