Thanks for the reaction! For me, the performance video saved the song. I think if I wasn't watching the video while listening to the song, it wouldn't be as interesting. Specifically the chorus kind of falls flat for me, and then even the final chorus doesn't really go anywhere - there's some "yeah"s in the background and I think Yeji does 2 short ad Lins, but there wasn't much sonically that made it feel as grand as the performance video did. Nonetheless, this is my favorite concept on itzy because I think their charisma really shines in it.
song was probably put together with live performance in mind and you can TELL by how intricate the performance was. BP has a FEW songs that are amazing live with a little change in attitude/delivery VS just hearing them on radio/spotify where they fall flat. i often thought the writers/producers were ingenious to think of the song being preformed live.

Overall I’m pleased with this track - I personally couldn’t get behind their last few Korean releases (though I did appreciate chesire for its similar vibes).
