Part 4 of RC Project 6: Kahn Defender D110 / RC4WD Gelande 2 Limited Edition.
In this part I'm focusing on putting all the painted parts together, mounting the lights and adding few upgrades. I also had to slightly modify the floor panels.
In the next part I will show what rims and tires I chose for this project.

This is a really nice model, however in real life the rear ladder / supports block the rear door from opening. I know it is nitpicking
Yea, in real life door opens - here doesn't lol. To be honest, if I wouldn't see your comment, I wouldn't even think about it, and it looks like the person who was designing the roof rack didn't think about it either :-)
So what did you think of those ARB axles? It looks like that’s what your running. Just watched the video of this bad boy towing a trailer

@@LandOfTheEagle could you post the details/specifics of what you got? i'd like to put the same setup in my gelande defender. i'm a total noob to the RC world. (first RC car build) ive done this to a real defender but am flummoxed by one i can hold in my hand... thanks
@@spencernorcross2612 It was 2-3 years ago so I honestly don't remember. From what I see, the ordering process on their site is still the same and very easy - just choose The UF-7C RC Lighting Controller and whatever LEDs you need for the build (colors, sizes, qty). Unfortunately, I can't find the order confirmation on my email box, but check your truck kit and you will know what do you need exactly :-)
