@@JRent506 You could try mixing the beats together, like have the bass more aggressive on a emo rap beat, then rap about some emotional stuff as the hook then go for a drill like lyrics for a verse, then the course can be a drill type lyrics, then end off a verse with emo rap lyrics. Or something like that, a lot of flowing changing clearly. But yeah it'll take some thinking, but also leave a good challenge and creativity. And possibly come up with a new genre.

Like rapping some fire shit about life then change the beat over something really dramatic then sing emotions, and finally singing motivating things. would love to see this lol but it seems kinda complicated

It's all debatable. What do you consider emo rap? If it's just emotional/vulnerable rapping it can be traced back way further than 2011. Cloud rap was around before the Lil Peep style emo rap for sure, but I think as it evolved it took more inspiration from those developing sub-genres I mentioned and people laying vocals on them have a wide range of styles, from the more emo stuff, to yung lean to viperr. All very different interpretations of the same subgenre. I know it's probably confusing the way I explained it, because it sounds like it was created by taking inspiration from emo stuff, I moreso meant it evolved alongside it and took inspiration from it that away
