Am 33yrs retired KDF officer, though I went home before completing my color service due to medical issues both physically and psychologically that was caused in war front.....the military has taught me so many things in life guys, some very weird and tough and some very educating and some that I can't scoop in this platform.... But anyway guys, military is a calling and a service not a Job note that!

My honest opinion: This is the best show ever! I love stories about the military and special forces.
This is a killer episode,,, kingori u are the OG, instead of bringing corrupt politicians here kupiga mshene na mauongo,,bring such people because they less recognized and they inspires us so much.

Wairimu Mukuria should have a talk show or something on national TV... I felt her points towards the end and what majority of people are going through.
In the year 2007 I did basic military training, and we could sleep run during the morning bx(body exercise) as we chanted the army songs 1,2,3 fall in.........if I die in the battle field, tell my mama I did my best, funny no one fell parade was like a seesaw all recruits asleep while standing rifle in hand na haiezi anguka, in the rare incidence the riffle fell, una ambiwa unapapasa nyati matako, kasirika stadium is a story for another day. The best part for me was passout parade rehearsal while the worst remains the 5 BX. God bless you soldiers.

Before I ask my question I would like to appreciate these two Kenyan veterans, may God bless them and their families.
This is one of the BEST episodes of this show, the humbleness, and intellectual ability displayed by the special forces guy is amazing. In addition, the lady has so much information and ability to help our soldiers coming from the battlefield, I hope she can help our police service to eliminate their trigger happy madness.

we deal with what hurts us by suppressing it, compressing it or denying it and that's why we drink, overslept, we smoke, we have sex, we chew mogoka,because we want to numb what we are feeling comfortable with but that doesn't help what it does is it suppress or actually postpone or delay the inevitable which is an utter and complete breakdown. like part of recovery you have to breakdown and people are afraid to breakdown because they know breakdown is losing control. what people does realise,actually we lost control longtime ago. You're a slave to your condition and the negative coping that you have adapted to help you cope. so really you're not coping! !!!😊. this woman is one in a million and the guy is just Dopeeeeeeee. the episode of intellectual! !!!! what an episode!

Long episode but worth it, Wairimu and Byron are so amazing individuals.
I remember Mjr Mukuria, I once got involved in a Millitary Civillian training with her at International Mining Training Center (IMATC) a military institution in Embakasi for a course in Incident Command System for Disaster Management and National Emergency Response Program. I am glad to here her experiences and for sure she is a true jewel in her field. The Institution has since changed name to Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS)
