Incredible job Alex, what a drive! That overtake on the grass coming down Lavant had me gasping.
Listen to the engine at high RPM in 3rd, wonderful. Great drive, great car. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
everything about this is amazing. the sounds, the action, just a time capsule of automotive greatness .
I'm an older guy now so it's great to see a young guy with all his reflexes and skills behind the wheel of a fantastic car. The oversteer out of the final chicane wow looks so cool. Great driving Alex.
Love it, what a great drive! You guys deserve a lot of respect driving these cars from an era when racing was really really dangerous.
It's always great to see the race cars of my childhood being pushed to the limit (or near enough), and it's always amazing how some of the drivers are racing and not thinking about the price tag :)
Fantastic drive, cautious, dextrous and ambitious …
Was there yesterday at St Marys watching this. Absolutely superb 👍
stunning
Very impressive drive! Looks really quick
It was!
Amazing drive!
So good 👌👌 Car looks amazing, crazy how much lock you can use when the car is rotating
Good driving. Enjoyable video with good angles. Very enjoyable overtaking move. This is probably your best in car film that I have seen.
some fine driving as allways!!
A great drive, and quite shocking to see how little grip the car has. The same for everybody on those tyres and very entertaining to watch.
Good drive! Looks like St mary's was it's usual tricky self, that brown-trouser moment early on certainly made things interesting!
What a result Alex! I hope that it was fun. I enjoyed watching you work your way up the field. The car looked beautiful - I know that’s not the point but it is nice to look at such purposeful and beautiful machinery. Where will you next be racing? Peter
That colour really pops on them
Brilliant to watch, thank you. It looks a bitof an animal 😊. Id be curious to know what sort of a difference the big full roll cage has made compared to a period uncaged or lesser caged race one? A lot stiffer i would imagine.
That car is fast......😮
Brilliant drive Alex, super smooth and great to watch. You were robbed of a podium at the end, and perhaps the win which is a real pity after all that hard work.
We’ll be back
@@BrundleBTW I am counting on it!
Nice work young Mr B....and the one takeaway from the Mustang race, sustainable fuel certainly smells different to pump fuel. Smells very similar to paraffin. Not unpleasant, but I do like the smell of unburnt hydrocarbons
They smell really different when you follow!
Whens the next historic race like this? Man would love to come watch
We are next out @ brands hatch historic festival
Awesome sounding car..need jedi reflexes to drive it
Wonderful drive, what went wrong with less than ten minutes remaining Alex?
Fuel pump we think… investigating now
@@BrundleBTW Thankyou, very frustrating as your pace was impressive, roll on Revival!
What happened later on? You had the fastest lap. Did something break?
I see the fuel pump issue; what a shame that car was wicked fast!
We have issues with the breather valves in the fuel tank. So got very nasty fuel surges and had to stop basically.
