- Have you ever wonder how lips permanent makeup is performed ? of course, if you are interested in getting your lips done you should know that swelling and more intense colour is a normal reaction. Lips should heal within a month leaving you with a soft natural colour. But PLEASE BE AWARE! Before you book your appointment do a proper research and learn about the treatment as there are pros and cons when it comes to lips tattooing and it requires experienced technician.

I had this done by someone who is supposed to be considered one of the best in the united states. I flew across the entire country because I wanted it done beautifully. paid airfare, hotel, a driver, and the cost of the procedure. my lips look exactly the same as they did before I went there, no difference.
BEWARE of misleading photos of their work. most pmu studios show online photos of the "after" when in reality, it's not the true result! it's a photo of their swollen lips after being tattooed. they always shrink back down and the color isn't guaranteed to stay, especially if they don't tattoo all the way to the vermillion, your lips can end up looking smaller. I also realized after the fact that she posts mirror images of the SAME eye to make it seem like her eyeliner tattoos are perfectly symmetrical. lots of bad, shady work in this industry.
I agree. I work in this industry. I thought I was trained by one the best. Till she spent 30 mins teaching us filters and angles

I'm an artist and I don't know if your artist told you but 3-6 sessions is normally required to achieve the desired color.
I'd like to see the results some days after it's done because I guess that the lips were swollen in the video

That's bcz of the numbing cream and yes it takes time to heal

It's painful like hell
We numb the lips for 20-30 minutes before starting. Then if they start to feel it we take a pause and re-numb it but the procedure is usually done before having to numb it again

Be careful is very painful and also you can get cold sore pretty bad. If you have dark skin is very hard to retain the color.
I got a cold sore and i applied blister cream Now my lips are the same as before (didn't Work on me)
Love it I wanna take a lip blush Training I did the micro blading ombre four years ago of 40 hour class, and I decided not to go through with it because I didn’t want Will not comfortable putting something semi permanent on somebody’s face but I can do the lips I’m a lip lover

As a tattoo artist I can tell you that this procedure is going to take at least 3 sessions to get it ✅️. I personally would use a 5 round shader for this. You'll definitely pack the color in better.

I would say no bc this is like a “blush” per say. You will not get a result of a bright or glossy red lip. Possibly with more than 2 procedures you could achieve red lips as a look of red lipstick .
