Hello Sarah-Jayne. We kinda miss you too. 😁But we all change, evolve (get busy with family) and welcome new people and family into our lives. Great to see you still have your lovely office. I wasn’t sure if you were going to incorporate some office space into your home renovation. Hopefully you’ll keep popping up every couple of months, so us oldies can keep up with you and all the fabulous yarnie things you’re up to. Bless 🧶🌸 oh and btw i adore your yarn wall.
Aw really?! 🥰 it’s just been a lot lately and needed to put my mental health/family first. I do miss vlogging though. I think I forgot how much I got out of it! Hopefully more coming soon!
Glad you like the yarn wall! X
It's so good to hear from you and for you to update us on what you're about. Although you gravitate to the same color palette frequently, your designs and color combinations are so elegant. The shawl is so lovely and soft looking. Littlejohn yarn has also had a few chats about pricing crocheted items to reflect their worth and how complex that subject is. I have no doubt that any path you follow in your creative journey will be successful and help so many crocheters. Hope to see you back soon.
Thank you so much :)
Lovely to see this type of video again, reminds me of the ‘old days’ when you used to chat whilst feeding Ella or folding the washer in the kitchen. I much prefer these more natural videos than the unboxing type. Hopefully you will do more in the future 😊
Thank you so much, I am hoping to start doing more of these :)
Lovely to see you back Sarah Jayne, such an enjoyable and interesting podcast, thankyou 😊
You are very welcome :)
Loved this, reminded me of the old days when I had time to watch your vlogs all the time. I used the starlight yarn from Hobbii to make hats for friends who work outside to keep them safe and visible on dark winter afternoons.
Oh, that's so thoughtful ❤
I was thinking wow, lots of crochet creators doing these lately, but if you were directly inspired by Toni's fun video that makes a lot of sense!
Awe Sarah so good to see you chatting 🎉 I had my children close together 161/2 months apart . I knew when you had Everleigh ( sorry if I misspelled her name ). I knew your life was about to get much busier. ) one child is a busy day but two is a bit more and I knew how busy life would get and exactly how everything changes . I’ve been watching you sense the beginning with your brother and your other channel as well . I new I would miss seeing your videos , but our children are the most top priority in our life . ❤ so I soaked up watching you. I’m much older (55 )and you’ve taught me so much in crochet. Thank you for that !!! And what gorgeous baby’s you and Anthony created ❤
Ahh thank you so much that is so kind of you. Yes life is very busy and of course our Children come first. I have a good team behind me which helps and I step away from time to time for my own sanity lol. Thank you for your continued support it really does me a lot to me :)
I love love loved this vlog! I missed these! I can’t believe I didn’t see this sooner! It was great to see you, and see what you get up to Bella coco HQ. Please do more of these videos!! I loved seeing all the different yarns, your projects and the yarn wall peg board has inspired me! Thank you ☺️ 🩷
You are very welcome, I'm glad that you enjoyed it :)
Great to see you again I used to love your daily vlogs. I absolutely love the green poncho my Nan crochet my sister and I ponchos for Christmas we thought we were the bees knees in them because none of the other children in the street had one lol. I have just completed a king size African flower blanket ready for the winter😂😂well you have to start these things early. Already looking forward to your next vlog.
Thank you so much :)

My husband made me a blocking board out of a wooden cutting board. Drilled lots of tiny holes for me and i use that with really pointy skewers 😂

@@bellacococrochet your welcome
Lovely studio 🥰
Thank you :)
I keep all my yarn labels then in December my granddaughter makes paper chain decorations with them! It’s surprising just how much yarn I buy in one year😳😂
What a great idea :)
I love crocheting
Me too! 🥰
What crochethook did you use with metallico yarn? Love the yarn!
I love chunky monkey for hats!
Don’t cake them up they look cute like donuts! 😊
Thank you :)
Hello Sarah-Jayne! Hope you are well, I've been watching your videos for quite a few years, and you have helped me to expand my crochet skills by watching your videos. I have been crocheting over 11 years now, and struggling to find part time work, (I have mild autism and lack academic qualifications) I really would love to have my own crochet business, but i know its not that easy as its not a regular income but art and craft has always been my passion, I would really be grateful if you could give me some advice on my business idea. I have sold my work on Discord and have sold to a lot of different countries including hungary, maryland, california, romania, australia, new mexico, south korea, italy, and more. Thank you for your time. Lauren.
That’s not a mess , that’s a working area 👍
Thank you :)
I knitted my husband a jumper in chunky monkey, it is soooooo thick. He said he doesn't even need to wear a coat in winter!! 😂
Although Scheepjes is soft, I find that it splits a lot, which can slow down a project.
Hi Bella!!!
Hello 🥰
Gracias !
11:57 it would look great Painted black
Do you ever buy yarn from places like B n M, Lidl, Aldi etc as they do arron yarn at a reasonable price and various other thickness of yarn. Some are really nice. If so what sort of project would you use them for?. I'm a beginner to crochet and a friend told me about your RUclips videos and suggest I watch you to learn easily step by step and have something to show at the end of it. I've made a few granny square blankets and a couple scarfs. What would you suggest a next easy project that I may learn something new but not to complicated to do. Many thanks Sarah from Plymouth U.K. xx
I recommend using a premium acrylic yarn for beginners, which I use for many of my tutorials and projects, and have heard many good things about the yarn from Aldi etc 😊 Have you had a look at some shawl patterns? Shawls are really nice to make as they’re not too big a project and you can have the chance to learn how to increase/decrease and try some different stitches. I have a tutorial for one here that you might like: ruclips.net/video/9QFa_VarMYE/видео.html
@@bellacococrochet thank you. I will definitely have a look at that. And as I'm a, see nice yarn must buy it person. I have stacks at home I could use. I have more yarn than I know what to do with. (Hence making so many blankets, even the dog has one lol). I'm not a shawl kind of person, but it's definitely a good place to start. I always wanted to make a poncho type of thing something I can and would actually wear. Other than your scarf pattern which I've also made loads of and unfortunately don't wear. But I haven't got the conference and have no clue where to start. I'm not good with reading patterns I get confused. And being on the larger size I like my comfort and wearing a size 18 to 20. But would have no idea how to make one or where to start, or more importantly how to alter it if need be to fit me. I've see people making jumpers etc and thought oh I like that. But then they alter it, and don't tell you how, or where the changes were made. Or how to make them for yourself. Which frustrates me and It's very scary to try in case you get it wrong. My favourite stitch so far is half treble (uk) as it gives less holes in your work so was thinking something in that stitch. But even then where to start. It's so confusing and a bit overwhelming. I'm probably trying to run before I can walk here. But you've given me the bug to want try and make something for myself like a jumper or cardigan, that is my goal. Not just another blanket, or scarf that's never used. Thank you so much for the advice and I will try that shawl, if nothing else I can wear it over my shoulders while sitting watching tv or sitting in bed to keep the chill off as being disabled I tend not to get out much. So crochet is something that can keep me busy and pass the time. Thank you so much. Love to you and your family xx
Do you have a website that you sell your items? I would love to take a look and buy something. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years and I learned a lot of different crochet stitches. Thank you ❤
You are very welcome, I'm sorry I don't sell any of the items I make :)
Thank you for letting me know.
I love your work.❤ kavitha from chennai
Thank you :)
❤❤❤❤❤
Do you know which crochet now magazine the shawl will be in? I love that x
Issue 96 I believe x
Did you use different colour yarns to those in the magazine? Yours look lighter colours. The magazine says powder, rose pearl and golden sand yarn. I prefer your colours in this video x
i like your poncho 🎉… Sarah Jane, what type of scale is that please?
Thank you, they are off Amazon a while ago, I wouldn't recommend them as they are not the best :)
I need to know how to donut the yarn
How does someone with over 1 million subs can get only 11k views on a video?
What are your favourite crochet Books? How many have you written?
I currently only have one book, however I do have another one coming soon :)
