Terrif lesson sir! Now sir Could you teach us in the future lessons everything about the modal verbs? For example sir when I should use may & might I'm confused about this matter or I've learned that must is used to talk about duty then I've heard that it can be used for giving advice but when I wanna give it I normally use " should" Thank you sir
May can be used in place of might to express that something is potential, they can have the same meaning. It might rain tonight. It may rain tonight. These are the exact same meaning. The difference is that when context allows it, May is also saying that permission is being given. You might go to the party tonight. You may go to the party tonight. The second one sounds like I am giving you permission but only if I am in power, like you are a teenager and I am your father. Generally speaking avoid saying You may... or They may... if you are in power unless you are giving permission. There is no confusion if there is no context of you having the power. 'The world may end' is beyond your control so it means the world might end, not a decision by you.
I used to listen to music but now i don't have time I used to live with my mom but now i'm with my grandma I used to play with my brothet but now i don't like it

Thank you sir
You could use must casually to give advice, e.g. You must try this wine. It's delicious. But we usually use should to give advice.
