- The Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World is a show with audio-animatronics of all of the US presidents. I have always enjoyed the air conditioning of this show building and is a great place to learn some US history and take a load off your feet.

I like how during the presidential roll call, the past and present presidents are staring at each other when their names are being called. Gives that sense of realism.
That part is very beautiful, can you imagine a show based on this ride but with actors on stage? That would've been very cool.
Man, hats off to the engineers on this! Those animatronics are INCREDIBLE!
When they name all the presidents... most people probably hate that part. But it's my favorite part.

I noticed this with both the Trump and Biden animatronics, the Disney Imagineers do an EXCELLENT job with both of their mannerisms and gestures

I’m only 16 years old and for most of my life I thought Abraham Lincoln was my Grandpa because of this attraction. 😂 It’s a tradition in my family to go see Lincoln anytime we go to Disney. A generations old tradition that my Great Grandpa made years ago. It just so happens that one of my first memories is of Mr. Lincoln giving a speech as an animatronic. So most of my life I thought that strange looking guy who spoke big words from my memories was somehow related to me. Until I went to Disneyland again and learned that the man has a name. President Lincoln. 😂And now I know where the memory comes from. Love this attraction so much, it’s where I got to meet my “grandpa” ❤️
Just saw this for the first time last weekend when my girlfriend, her family, and I visited Orlando, and we were all blown away at how moving and inspirational this tribute was. As a student of history, and as an American, I felt so proud and patriotic watching this, and was also so glad to have my girlfriend and her family, all immigrants who came here to America to live out the American Dream, learn about where we started this truly unique experiment in the history of the world. There are so many great things to say about this, but I just have to mention how I was especially moved by the cheers during the scene with the Tribute In Light - that was so beautiful. 😊
As a Brit I find this attraction so surreal! A British version in a British theme park with British Prime Ministers would last about 5 minutes before vandals destroyed it, haha! But I enjoy patriotic Americans. I'll leave this show to them though while I go ride on some good ol' American thrill rides.

American here--I myself find it a bit surreal (especially as a DISNEY attraction, of all things!), but I also have to admit it's an interesting and kind of fun way to learn about our past leaders. The animatronics are really well-made, executed, and maintained, and I think it illustrates the evolution of our country both in age and ideals.
@@athenamuldrow1664 I think it would be great in a museum or something like that. Feels reeeeally out of place in Magic Kingdom to me. My kids would probably be so bored they'd hate me forever if I took them on to this instead of Big Thunder Mountain
@@guksack That's why you wear the kiddies out then take them to this. I remember seeing this for the first time at Disneyland when I was a child. I loved it. Then again, I LOVE history and always have.

Absolutely love going to DisneyWorld just for Hall of Presidents, it's my favorite part!

I worked at Disneyland in the 1980's. I'd often go to the Hall of Presidents there just listening to Lincoln. Brought tears to my eyes everytime, and filled me with hope and inspiration. I'd always find myself saying Thank you, Mr. President.

This show has always been my Power Nap time of the day, after walking in the sun all day, I love the show, but I always fell asleep 😂😂
I was there yesterday. People kept cheering for the Presidents they liked, which was annoying af. Save your applause for the curtain-drop.
The theme of "The High Plains" by Richard Allen Harvey playing at 16:23, not only is very beautiful but also is very moving, and it fits perfectly with the rest of the soundtrack of the ride. The ending theme at 23:49 is called "Age of Ideas" by Paul Reeves.
Note: On July 21, 2024, President Joe Biden announced that he was no longer seeking re-election.

Kind of interesting to watch the other mannerisms of the other presidents when our current president is speaking. Watch at 22:39 moment in video. Watch Ulysses S Grant eyes, as he looks at the camera. Reminds me of the show, the Office, when the actors look at the camera after someone says or does something interesting. Also Andrew Johnson looks like he's about to come off the stage and come with a can of whip ass and strangle the current president with that facial expression. Something's wrong with the other presidents as our current president speaks. I wonder, what is going on? I guess sensitivity training for the other animatronics?

I've always felt that the animations of Lincoln, for one, are too exaggerated. Instead of standing behind a podium, as many politicians did in them days, and they also had to shout to be heard... it just seems (obviously) mechanical and artificial.... it's as though the Imagineers and the engineers wanted to be too... somehow... well... something....(of course they are mechanical, duh!)

This attraction is to honor all the presidents, no matter their actions in or out of office. Being the leader of a country is a hard task and one highly controversial at times. Everyone thinks at least one president shouldn’t have been in office, yet we should still give them all respect.
