Loved this video. I have a civic, so helpful too. If I may, I would like to recommend not using the phrase “go ahead…”. It’s extraneous and removing it from your videos will raise the quality even more. Only trying to help. Super helpful topic.
That OBD scan is definitely NOT the same anymore!! I guess since its been 4 years since you posted that link, they've done upgraded items or put something totally different by now. Bummer, cause i liked the simplicity of the one your using and can't find it now

I had this exact problem. please put in the description or title or anywhere the problem its having. you should just add "crank no start, NO GREEN immobilizer symbol light on dash." i have been searching for this exact problem for a solid week now and i just now found your video when it should be one of the first videos to show up since i was searching for this exact problem. thanks for making it just please add that to the description so people can find it. Everything you did I did and I produced the same results as you. This solved my problem finally. There are almost no videos that explain this, all the videos out there are for flashing constant green key symbol. There are no videos for no green key at all
I have the same issue. Question for you, can you reprogram a used immobilizer from a parts car/junkyard car (I have one) or does it need to be a new immobilizer. What was your process?
For someone like me who knows nothing about Honda's immobilizer this would have stumped me for sure. But now with this video we can all be smart about this subject. Thanks. And yes, I'm enjoying my diagun as well. What a great tool.
Wyatt, I was just thinking the exact same thing. Having never owned a Honda and rarely work on them, I didnt know about that green light either. I would have eventually traced it down but I would have been possibly hours into a diag. Great video Oz. Now I know another trick my X431 pro can do.
I wonder who came up with scope on the rope saying. Such a powerful name for a powerful tool. Test light is so underrated every tech d.i.yer and so on should have one. So simple but powerful.
So what does it mean when there's no power from the black and yellow wire does that mean power from the relay is not getting to the mobilizer because I have power on one of the wires but the other one has no power coming to it
If anyone else has this issue, yes you can use an immobilizer from a used car and you shouldn't need a new key cut. Locksmith should be able to program it within 5 minutes (or a mechanic's shop).

Immobilisers has got much more complicated since these Honda systems. Programming on some new vehicles is a nightmare. Great job
