    Now Leicester have equalled Man United's record 9-0 score in premier league.
    Funnily enough Peter Schmeichel was in goal for Man United's 9-0 in 1995, and his son Kasper Schmeichel was in goal for Leicester's 9-0 in 2019

    Tony Gubba was really a vastly underrated commentator. Also enjoyed that old trope from the 90s that commentators had of very specifically mentioning where the referee was from. May as well have said "number 57, just after the turning, the first one on the left with the green front door".

      Coal got 5 goals that game, but when we needed 1 goal against west ham on the last day of the season to win the league, he missed sitter after sitter. We then didn't win the league and lost the cup final the week after, if cantona didn't get suspended we probably would have done the double.

    • @poolworld1
      @poolworld1 4 года назад +2

      @Rex makepeace You've mentioned one good thing he did. He was there for 7 years. He was similar to Lukaku and Berbatof, scored a lot of goals but not important goals and wouldn't show up for the big games, e.g. 99 cl final. He wasn't the player we broke the transfer record to get. He did get an important goal to against spurs on the last day to win the 99 title, but thats only 2 things we've mentioned. I'm struggling to thing of more. In the run in of the 96 season, Cantona got the winning goal in many games to win us the double. Where was Cole in these important matches and all of those games were important to overthrow NCFCs 12 point lead and caused Keagan to lose the plot on national TV.

      Jonathan O'Toole Hughes must have been a nightmare to play against

    • @poolworld1
      @poolworld1 4 года назад

      @Rex makepeace not every goal is important, maybe he could have scored 4 goals in this game. and saved the 5th to score against west ham then we would have won the double. We could have won this game 1-0 and got the same amount of points. Or if Cantona didn't get suspended then we would have won the double also. Check cantonas goals the following season in the run in, he scored loads of important goals, cole didn't get any.
      If you win the game 10 - 0 or win the game 1-0 you get the same amount of points. Rarely does the title come down to goal difference. It happened in 1989, then the next time it happened was in 2012, 23 years later. Its about doing it under pressure, which is where Cole fell down. Him and Cantona are responsible for one of the worst weeks of my life, and I still don't like to think about it.

    10:49 Any problem with Ince's goal? Did the ball actually hit Forrest's arm? The referee was booking Forrest (usually done face-to-face), so should he then have let him get back in position before the free-kick was taken?

    3-0 at first half, and they still search for another goals. That's the mentality that I like from Fergie's United.

      Much like I support Dortmund (we just lost Mkhitaryan to United). Kevin Grosskreutz is one of my favourites along with Reus. United looks to have a real good team this coming year. United have always been high scoring.. just ask Roma (7-1)

    3:15 If Ipswich had taken that clear chance at that stage, it would have been 2-1. Might have then been an entirely different outcome.
