"All that science" was ABSOLUTELY who he was & is, because the work lives on beyond the man's physical form. He had to express it. He was not soley a gifted artist. Remember also scientists had to be artists & draftsmen because there was no other way to record what thye were working on. DaVinci is one of the great geniuses of humanity, right up there with Newton, Goerthe & Einstein, Plank, Heisenberg, et. al. To see him soley as an artist is to miss out on a great majority of who & what he was & is. DaVinci was / is a true visionary. Thank you for your intersting commentary Dr. Bambach.
