Yes you can definitely do with non hotfix crystals and glue. the neatness will depend on how precisely you apply each individual crystal, definitely recommend tracing out the design so you have a guide to follow

Im using transfer paper to transfer the design, I have used a ballpoint pen to press onto the transfer paper so that it helps to transfer the chalk onto the fabric
