Water Trolley Tour - Fort Lauderdale Free Activity

If you are like us and want some free things to do when in different cities, try the FREE Water Trolley in Las Olas Fort Lauderdale. We got lucky and discovered the Water Trolley sponsored by the city of Fort Lauderdale as we were about to pay for a water taxi ($35 for age 12 and up). The kids loved it cause it was short ride (10 min each way) and parents were happy cause we didn’t spend $70 and got a refreshing and entertaining ride on the New River

Love it . Anytime I can ride free public transportation offered by local administration I make full use of it .
Like the Metromover trains in downtown Miami . Also the Staten Island ferry in New York .

They need a water taxi stop in Hallandale Beach Florida it’s a beautiful city with beautiful beaches and restaurants and Hotels and a good nightlife.

How long does the round trip take ?

It depends on how many stops the taxi makes. We noticed at times if there is no one getting on or off, they do not stop. That said, we did our round trip in ~15 minutes.
