One thing that isn't even mentioned is the lack of a curb at the drop-off area. This is subtle, but huge. I've flown out of the new LGA 4 or 5 times now, and it's so nice to pull your bag out of the trunk of a Lyft and then just roll right on into the terminal. It's the little details like this that really tell you this is a new airport for the 21st century.

My friend came to look for me and when he saw me with a panic face he asked me what was wrong with me, and I said to him - Is this one of the main airports of the most powerful city on earth? - He shrugged and said - But it's only the airport, the city is beautiful! -. @Liam Don't put words in my mouth that I haven't said. I did not say that the airports in the United States were bad, I said that Laguarida airport was horrible. And it is true that airports like Denver are world class, but ... Denver is not the most powerful capital on earth, New York is, and that is why it was strange that it had such an archaic airport. And everyone mentions the JFk or Newark, I think they also want them or are reforming them, because they are not exactly ... as I would say ... examples of airport architecture to follow.

The secret to a great LaGuardia experience is to go very early in the morning or after 8pm. You will have no traffic and you can be home in Manhattan in 30 minutes.
I just flew in to the new terminal and it is beautiful. My only complaint is that the restaurants all close at 9 or 10pm and you have flights arriving up to 11pm. They need to schedule more late night arrivals and departures to ease congestion. And they need to keep the restaurants open later.

Finally the US is catching up to Asia, Europe, and the Middle East for airport experience. Hopefully this sets the tone for other airports in the States.

Sure, but the old La Guardia Terminal caused aircraft to be backed up during rush hour. That's the point of the video.

An N95 mask with the vent filters the exhale also. It’s the fabric masks with vents that don’t filter the exhale and shouldn’t be used.

Why are people impressed by the least important issues? Okay, so the terminals are being remodeled to look modern. The main problem is out on the runway, where your plane has to wait in line for 1.5 to 2 hours before takeoff because the 2 runways are over capacity for takeoffs and landings. What would impress me is my plane being number 4 or less for takeoff.

Finally! I have pretty low standards for airports, because I love traveling. I hated only 1 airport in the world and it was LGA. Now I may buy ticket to LGA again

The check in area reminds of me of Haneda. Finally at least one of our airports can be compared to the rest of the developed world. Can’t wait to do a travel report at LGA.

There are other nice airports in the US. And there are many terrible, ugly looking airports in the developed world, like in Europe for instance. Plenty of airports in Germany, for example, are old and have the same old ceiling architecture you can find in old American airports

Terminal B is beautiful! What I hate the most is doing all that walking till I get to Concourse D. Can you imagine if an elderly person for example, had to walk all the way to gate D10? That’s a lot of walking, so I don’t care about going up a flight, to walk across to an opening, then climbing down, to walk across an upper level concourse, then coming down the escalator to know end up when the old Concourse A-D and then having to do all that walking to your gate? WTF??? Why not just rebuild all of Terminal B and relocate the airlines to the other terminals!

New terminals but still the same small airfield. Only two 7000' runways, one in use at any given time. This resulted in long waits for takeoff and guaranteed delays. Air Train helped JFK and will help LGA if it gets built. Quick cheap trip to Manhattan.

A rail link is the most important thing. Taxis and buses are a very inefficient ways of transportation in such a crowded city. JFK also needs some improvement. You have to go to Jamaica with the AirTrain and there it is very difficult to switch to the subway with luggage.
