Reminds me of a time while going on a ski trip. The plane was experiencing a lot of turbulence and the girl sitting across from me was super afraid of flying. Right at the beginning of the flight she was at the point of tears. At some point during the beginning of the trip she had her eyes closed and fist glinched tight. I just went for it and gently held her hand. She looked in shocked and i just smiled and asked "you okay..?" My relaxed nature seem to really make her relax and i kept her mind busy asking questions and spewing facts about ducks and chickens. She seemed actually genuinely happy. The seat next to me was empty so I asked if she wanted to be next to me. She oddly did and everytime the plab would jump she would grab my hand. I jokenly told her she can squeeze has hard as she needs to if it made her feel safer. Finally the plane was gonna land (that was her worst part) and at the moment we made eye contact in which i smiled help my hand and she smiled and just went for hugging me and held me ridiculously tight all throughout the landing. That was it. It was over. Oddly i think about her a lot. Never got her name and she never got mine. We just at for a moment had a connection. Before we parted ways I made a note for her to always remind herself that somewhere i am out there and to always remind herself that our moment was calm and relaxed. She literal loved it, gave me a huge hug and we stared and then it was a soft goodbye. That was it.

Reminds me of a time while going on a ski trip. The plane was experiencing a lot of turbulence and the girl sitting across from me was super afraid of flying. Right at the beginning of the flight she was at the point of tears.
At some point during the beginning of the trip she had her eyes closed and fist glinched tight. I just went for it and gently held her hand.
She looked in shocked and i just smiled and asked "you okay..?"
My relaxed nature seem to really make her relax and i kept her mind busy asking questions and spewing facts about ducks and chickens. She seemed actually genuinely happy. The seat next to me was empty so I asked if she wanted to be next to me. She oddly did and everytime the plab would jump she would grab my hand. I jokenly told her she can squeeze has hard as she needs to if it made her feel safer.
Finally the plane was gonna land (that was her worst part) and at the moment we made eye contact in which i smiled help my hand and she smiled and just went for hugging me and held me ridiculously tight all throughout the landing.
That was it. It was over. Oddly i think about her a lot. Never got her name and she never got mine. We just at for a moment had a connection. Before we parted ways I made a note for her to always remind herself that somewhere i am out there and to always remind herself that our moment was calm and relaxed. She literal loved it, gave me a huge hug and we stared and then it was a soft goodbye.
That was it.
