I remember when I was 11 years old, I slept with a ball and just that year I was national champion with the ideal 11 of my city, I lived all day playing soccer in the street and playing PES when my parents let me grab the PS2, my dream was to play it on PS3 and I never could until now that I have it on PC... I have dedicated many hours to it, the soundtrack is the best! many memories and it's a tremendous game... the only bad thing is that the community doesn't create patches like PES 2013 or PES 21... This game was fast pace, exhilarating and soo fluid in its game play, it was the perfect football game. Each footballer was unique along with their appearance and attributes. The fluidity of the game was the best. This was especially awesome as it came with counter attacking football. I don't know why they slowed the game play down and reaction time in the newer games. it's become more annoying.
pes 2008 is a great game with great graphics, this video shows the real graphics of the game, this is actually how pes 2008 looks.. i think fifa 09 will be better than fifa 08, specially graphics, but, if you dont want to spend money buying the 2 games, you have to wait for fifa 09..

well whenever i see my goals hit the net it doesnt move and when it does move the ball moves out side of the net for a brief second but overall i say pro evo is better but you probably think fifa is better..
if it's for the European market ,why is it called PE Soccer? FIFA atleast has their intenrational version completely neutral, while their US and EU versions fashion the words soccer and football, respectively

Everytime i see this game or someone play it i remind me how bad the series is now. PES 2009 was better than this but this particular game was the last real PES game no matter what people say about its glitches. I prefer this to PES 2010 and 2011, even with glitches, at least the gameplay is good.
Seriously people, why must one game have to be better and the other one worth crap. I play both FIFA and PES and they are both excellent. PES goes for realism while FIFA goes for that fun thrill, quite-arcade style thing. I swtich between both games when one bores me (one because it can become frustrating and a bore fest from time to time and the other for lack of satisfaction)

I suggest you read some reviews on this game before you buy it. Do take a look at FIFA as well, because it far exceeds this game in my opinion.
