Legit? It's a weak attempt for Segura to identify with Koy's level of humor and he falls way short of succeeding. He has little insight if he thinks "funny" is videotaping his mom, farting.
Charly Jo Coy’s entire body of work is 75% ripping on his mom. What do you think “funny” is? I believe Tom Segura to be fucking hilarious. (I’m not the only one who gets his sense of humor) That’s why he & Christina have over 100k subscribers, and sell out shows all over the country. Stay miserable!
I'm a half Filipino/Caucasian also and your stories about your mom are dead on. My Mom passed 2 years ago and I died laughing and crying at the same time. Thanks for the memories.
I can totally relate to JoKoy and his mom ..I get it she drives him nuts and has a completely different way of doing things but he adores her and he knows she loves him.
I feel Joe Koy’s pain. My mom is a Korean immigrant from postwar South Korea and I was born a half Asian and American kid. I’m an artist and to this day she will still tell me to get a good job with insurance and retirement. Which is great but I feel his pain. It’s hard to talk to my mom about dreams. She said dreams are for children.
Your mom is right we all have dreams to become what we desire but when we grow up things aren't come along so were forced to become something else to survive

It was unwritten in Phil History but for everyone to know he was the one who sent Ilocanos to Hawaii to study the way they plant fruits especially pineapple as we all know Ilocos region is rich when it comes to agriculture.

I respect what he wants and he is good at it. He took one semester of his master in Portugal and told me he wants to take a master in Economics in London after he finishes it. No lie! My mom is Filipina and would whoop my ass with the bamboo spoon or flip flop if I was in the kitchen when she was cooking. Her favorite cuss word was "SHIT!" Being the baby boy, I was not allowed to have a girlfriend because "she could get pregnant and you have no job!" Now that I'm old and have a career with benefits, she is happy and cool. I love you mom.
I’m an immigrant mom ok but I never asked from my kids I want them to enjoy what they have. I never expect on my kids. Because I believe that parents are responsible on their welfare.
My mom is Brazilian and the things she says are so abusive that they become funny and when I start to laugh and joke about it she says "don't start with your little jokes."
Im a fan of jokoy ever since I stumbled on 1 of his clips on tiktok...I just wanna say on one of the topics. Our parents, no matter how old they are and rich we are..they will not stop giving us support, whatever it may be. Our parents doea not always wants our money or support because that is there job and they are proud of it, Im proud of it. So we just kept on supporting each other understand our love for each other..love and support comes in mysterious ways😊
Jo-koy that’s culture. Filipino parents still take pride on being able to spend money on their kids, even though their kids can very well afford it. And funny coz that’s also me when I get gift from my son. It’s a waste of money if I get a gift that I don’t really like and will never use it. Just being practical.
I had a peruvian classmate who was new and quiet in the beginning...then he came out of his shell and the spanish colonial humor came out. He and my mexican friend had a lot of laughs together. Im filipino too.

So they gave me a "pot pan haircut" where my hair covered my ears, and also helped to press them closer to my head lol so my parents told me. And my favourite way they helped me with my ugliness, were the bedtime stories of the Ugly Duckling. I was "Patito Feo" and would one day grow up be handsome 🤨🙄😂😂😂😂😂
My mom is the EXACT SAME. Once for Mother’s Day my wife convinced me to get her a nice new wallet from Nordstrom, so I splurged and got her a YSL one I think. She used to say her favorite color is purple, so I found this purple/lavender done. She goes “oh that’s nice…do they have any other color?” I’m like ayo wtf. Her response ANY time why she deserves expensive stuff is “I carried your dumbass for 9 months, you’re indebted to me for life.” Moms 😂
If you always haggle on price, even if you’re well off... you just might be Filipino. If someone asks you where something is and you point at it with your lips... you just might be Filipino.
