Me and wife were there Sat snd Sun. Lotta people and we were in the stands maybe half the time. Lots to see if you love this type of racing. Love the Fuel cars and Factory Stock.
Yep, run down to your local dealer and pick up one of those factory stock cars that run 8 sec 170 mph drag race. Oh and it comes complete with a parachute to help you stop fast when the light turns to yellow when you are on the way to the grocery store.
The Gatornationals had a sell-out Saturday and Sunday. Not many stay in the stands while Sportsman classes run. A mistake in my opinion, but this is when people stretch their legs, and wander thru the pro pits.
Vincent, you couldn't be more wrong! Traffic was backed up forever trying to get in and at the time this video was happening, the pits were packed with fans checking out the top fuelers and funny cars, same with every NHRA National event.
@@stevieg2755 Ticket prices are less than most events. Again the Gators were completely sold-out Saturday and Sunday. The PRO Race in Bradenton, Florida also had a sell-out crowd a few weeks before. They actually erected an entire grandstand/hospitality area for that event.
Saturday and Sunday were sold-out! Almost no one watches the Sportsman classes. A real shame. Many fans head to the pits after Top Fuel and Funny Car. They don't even watch Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.

This reminds me of when Pro Stock was cool. Now it's one car painted differently each time.
I love drag racing, but NHRA is following in the footsteps of Nascar. It's all about them making money, and us just paying for it and shutting up.
NHRA is a non-profit organization. Unlike NASCAR which is all about $$$.
