    Really nicely played and demonstrated Enda. I'm a fiddler. I chose to play "The Torn Jacket" before "The Peeler's Jacket". There are lots of alternatives of course.

    How many crochet (quarter note) beats per minute would you suggest for a reel?
    A terrific lesson, your advice regarding triplets switched on the light bulb for me, thanks very much!

      100 BPM is a good benchmark for decent speed. A fast session probably is in the region of 120 but the 100 mark is definitely one to aim for.

      @@IrishTenorBanjo Thanks Enda. I've had a go with the metronome, and I'm pleased to report that I'm able to play around 100 to 110 - but not with triplets in the mix, so there's work to be done!
