Match Fishing 2024 | Tunnel Barn Farm | BIG MONEY MATCH | 30/11/2024

Tunnel Barn Farm today for their BIG MONEY MATCH with some 36 anglers on House, Extension, and High Pool. I can fish Tunnel, no problem I thought. Scale it back a little, maggots and a bit of dobbing and ill be sorted.
Nope. not at 17.5m across on Extension 27 you won't but I had a back up plan, my trusty bomb rod and with Paul Holland 2 pegs to my left I needed some bonus carp if I was going to do any good so all or nothing it was. Sadly it was mostly nothing but I did catch a few and with the rivers currently unsafe to even walk near it was a good idea to get out and have a few bites.
I have however come away wondering what if
What if I had shotted my float down to a pimple to start with
What if I had fished the nearside and far side shelf (top 4 and top 8)
What if I had taken some worms for a few big perch
What if I had been more confident at fishing that line to the left
I like Tunnel as a venue as it always leaves me wanting to go back immediately and improve on my performance. It's not easy and when you are competing with some of the best F1 anglers in the country it makes you wonder what if I .....
