Speaking from experience, sometimes when we leave marriage, it’s not to go out and find someone else. We work hard as women. We cook, clean, raise children, doctors appointments, school activities, homework, moral support, support our husbands and their careers, catering to their needs and more. We have to do all that while working and taking care of ourselves. I personally sacrificed my aspirations to see theirs grow. When all that happens, we end up losing ourselves because we spent our lives making sure everyone else is ok. Not saying this is her case with Mrs.Mathis . My point is, after all that we don’t care about finding someone else. That’s the least of our aspirations. 💯💯💯💯💯🤷🏽♀️

Judge Mathis is 64. I think for better or worse after a certain age is heavily based on how well you’ve treated your person during your “better” years. Just because he never divorced her doesn’t mean he wasn’t a nightmarish husband behind closed doors. Which I’m sure he was because he held all the power. That’s why I tell people to always watch how you treat spouses how you want to be treated because the tables can and always do turn in a relationship when you occasionally dog someone else out. I watched the new court show of Judge Mathis, and in my opinion he was very short tempered on the show. He laid into quite a few court participants on the show. I stopped watching the show because I didn’t like how rude he would get with the people on the show. Jaye you think every woman wants to run to those streets. We have got to STOP glorifying couples that have been married for decades. Looks can be very deceiving and we don’t know what both parties have been through with each other. What’s the point of staying married when you’ve been miserable for 30 out of 39 yrs. I just celebrated my 2nd anniversary with a beautiful woman from the Philippines 🇵🇭 that was the best choice I have ever made! You cannot speak for all women. My ex husband and I divorced and I didn't ask for anything because I had my own. He remarried, but I have not because I don't need or want to. I went through a lot, but we are still friendly and we have no children. Things happen that people don't have to know about. She is doing what she needs to do.
