Most commenters know the truth, wagner murdered Natalie, his wife. Natalie's daughter, Natasha, believes that killer, who's not her father is incomprehensible - kissing and hugging him and changing her name to "wagner" is beyond ignorant. She'll learn the truth some day. It's unbelievable he hasn't spent his life in prison.

I believe Natalie Wood was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood and her early demise rests squarely on him, snuffed out like a cigarette and not only was he not charged and kept his career, but he deposited a tidy sum in death benefits from insurance policies.

I still have a hard time listening to him. I believe he’s a mean drunk. Maybe Natalie’s death was a freak accident, but he had made several comments to Walken, accusing him of wanting to sleep with his wife. Alcohol is always a bad idea, especially whenever you’re on a boat. What is perplexing is that a woman on another nearby boat allegedly heard desperate cries for help. Maybe the storm that night carried her voice. I just think that he knew something. He may not have pushed her overboard, but what if he was so drunk he left her alone? People are not logical when they are inebriated. Guess we will never know. The most horrifying thing is that R.J. waited so long to call for help. I think he was getting his story straight. Poor Natalie died by the very thing she was most afraid of….dark, deep water.

I've been on boats many times, there is no way in hell you would not hear someone shouting, screaming etc. unless there was thunder and stormy weather. The fact that there were three people besides Natalie Wood on board and noone can give a decent explanation for her death is very peculiar. Don't get me wrong, there is a chance she slipped and fell unconscious but it is very suspicious. There have been disappearances on freight ships and cruise liners where people have either fallen or perhaps even commited suicide but a robust moving ship is quite another thing and it is highly likely noone will notice anything untill the next day.
Wagner & company must know something, more than 50% chance.

Honestly, I think Natalie and Wagner were both angry and drunk. They into a fight and he stuck her ( or pushed her) into the dingy untied it and kicked it out to sea knowing that she’s terrified of the water (especially in the dark) and wanted her to suffer the panic as a way to mentally torture her which is why he wouldn’t let the captain turn in the light ( As a lot of mentally abusive Narcs do) but was too drunk to anticipate her panic could cause her to freak out and fall out and drown especially her having been drinking too.(Edit: So I believe her actual death was an accident BUT although, he may not have intended to murder her he still murdered her. There’s always some truth to a liars deception. That’s how he got away with it.

My Landlord had a sailboat in a dock along the side of the Splendor. Which sat at the end of the dock. I saw Robert Wagnor several times on that boat. One day, he was drinking out of a coffee cup while on the boat, after leaving he sat the cup on the step that went up to the top quarter, and after leaving, I went on the boat and took the cup. Still have it to this day. That was the same yr Natalie drowned.

I find Robert to be very kind and his answers are genuine. Maybe being 84 has something to do with stumbling on his words. He probably doesn't mention Natalie because he's sick of talking about her. There were three people on the boat, they were all drunk.

    1. He married Natalie twice and hardly ever mentions her. If you marry somebody twice it should be the love of your life and you would always mention.2. He wrote books about film starts and haven't wrote/dedicated a book to the love of his life Natalie?3. His reactions and answers in the interview are terrible. Laughing and greening at serious questions about his wife and that horrible night. Again he does not mention her.4. What probably happened was: he got angry after drinking and she wanted to leave on the dingy. She fell in the water and called him for help, he probably saw everything, but didn't do anything. Dennis the captain came probably heard them and Wagner said, leave her to teach her a lesson. She drowned and they realized what they did...and the rest is history.

It seems obvious to me that Larry King agreed not to ask the heavy questions. There were many opportunities to do so, but he didn't, and there were also many opportunities for Wagner to mention Natalie Wood, yet he never did. He would like to time travel, but doesn't say that he would like to see her again, people he misses the most, still never mentions her, says he loved Frank Sinatra and Barbara Stanwyck but not a word about Natalie. She deserved better than this.

    • @katgirlblue
      @katgirlblue 5 лет назад

@Samuel Legit that's true. It seems obvious that her death will never be solved. Robert Wagner is too powerful in Hollywood, and if anyone else knows the truth, they're still not talking.

      They fought.
She didn’t know how to swim.
She didn’t know how to operate the tender.
She drowned with physical injuries indicative of a struggle and a head injury.
She was wearing a nightgown, a robe, no shoes.
      They fought
RJ delayed the captain calling the coast guard for 2 hours to report her missing.
She nearly drowned at 11YO and was alleged to be deathly afraid of water from that day forward.
Why did she invite Walken on the boat for the weekend.
So many questions that will go unanswered.
In this interview he dodged every question about her.
