- Slow spinning on a Dealgan Spindle also known as a Scottish Spindle, Farsadh, or Fairsaid.
Unique whorl-less spindle that produces a center pull ball (similar to a nostepinne). Ideal for travel, these stout spindles can withstand a lot and still spin true. This design pays tribute to the Scottish immigrants and is crafted from hard wood.

I love spinning on a dealgan. I use it as a drop spindle too.
It is such an easy spindle to use. Took it out in the wild Sunday, got some interesting looks. Walked through Target and Fred Meyer and spun while my son shopped for legos.
I have the spindle and I love spending on it
Yes, more power to the Scottish Spindle. I spin on both of mine and hopefully I can learn to make some this week. I will be visiting my parents, I will try to talk my dad into teaching me how to make them.
