No need to add self weight as dead load, you have to add load of wall, floor finish as Super dead load.
Sir I understood e tabs need not to assingn self weight, for analysis.😢 then why you did it.? Why Its reason?
Etabs automatically calculate self weight of beam and columns... don't needs to assign....
This video is very useful, but there are two errors.
1. You do not need to assign self-weight to joint once you have set self-weight to 1 in load pattern
2. You do not need to apply wind to the whole structure, just the walls.
1)Sir, in Etabs isn't Self weight is applied by software by default!
We don't need to apply self weight of 1kn/m???
2) What is Diaphragm?? That U give?

Etabs enters dead load and seismic load by itself. If you want to give floor finish load , you can enter it but self weight is not required neither is earthquake load

there is no need to put selfweight of structure, i think you are confused between staad pro and etabs, also you did not change the property of steel in defining columns

It is very confusing dear, I have gone through no of similar videos and found that software itself calculate the self weight. Whereas you have assigned it additionally. Same question has already been raised by many viewers and they are waiting for your reply.
Please clarify the issue on priority. So that we do our analysis precisely.

Application of wind loads appears to be wrong as the wind load direction is showing vertical upward instead of horizontal in the 3 d model.
u applied individual dead load but isn't etabs does calculcate selfwight by default?

First of all This Video is misguiding and wrong at many places... Owner should know that this is not some video editing training video, This is real building design software training video. So Doing is wrongly can cause disaster of money and life. Owner should be responsible, either should answer questions asked by users or should remove this video.

I see whole Video to Find correct step but unfortunately the whole procedure is wrong. Do not apply these steps for real building Design.
Dont add self weight.
Wth is this , for wind load you have to give it on cladding , not on whole structure , it should be given on side walls ,
If you are seeing this , don't follow any steps as shown
